VIX futures (not VIX) hovering near the same level of 36 for a long now.

Bearishness is reflected in high VIX readings & so are the VIX futures contracts.

VIX is a measure of "implied volatility" or "expected volatility"

1 hr before the market opening:

~ re-visiting the existing holdings
~ revising the SL
~ prioritizing the watchlist in terms of the most promising setups
~ setting the alerts

There is more than 60% probability of a gap up. (As per 15 years of data on Nifty)
