Moon in Gemini indicates a desire for women, men, and youths. They delight in words and coyness.

In today's thread and perhaps some subsequent threads, we will start looking into Rama as a person. The author clearly tries to bring out the human aspect of Rama captured beautifully in some of the verses.

Please note, the discussion is NEVER challenging the supreme divinity of the person, but tries to capture the nuances or the finer points of the Bhagwan.

Sri Rama had extra-ordinary merit - Unequalled, Unmatched merit. He always remained at his own highest level.

He seldom fell below it at times, wherein one can spot the conditions that led to the decline. In these conditions, he did & said things that his own higher nature would never approve.

Sri Rama was indeed the guardian and embodiment in himself of Dharma.

Some incidents bring out the very best in him where he is able to uphold his own moral ideal.

For ex, when Vibhishina sought asylum, he held a council of war with all eminent counsellors. Except Hanuman whose advice was considered weak, rest all including Lakshmana ..

The other strange thing that has started happening is pictures of Ram appearing sans Sita. “Jai Siya Ram” has become “Jai Shri Ram”. Some people disingenuously explain it as being the same thing - because Shri is a name of Lakshmi. Not really. Siya is an apbhransh of Sita. 4

Shri is a prefix of respect in this case. Hinduism is being militarised. A woman/Sita has no place in it. Even the militaristic Goddess that is Durga has no place in this conception of neo-Hindu divinity, as evidenced by Dilip Mandal wondering where Durga came from. 5

Your fellowship with God doesn't get broken Because you did something wrong

It's your heart/conscience condemning you but the Bible says God is greater than your conscience

That Fellowship is intact. Let's not be using our earthly father to describe God

I often hear that when you sin, you break your Fellowship with God and to recover or restore back that fellowship you have to Confess your sins to God and all that

And there are people that have been running with this mindset but it's not consistent with the Christian realities

This misconception or idea that a Christian breaks fellowship comes from the old testament/Convenant thinking

That is in Deuteronomy 28, Where if you obeyed God He will get close to you

And when you don't He stays far from you

You can not be a Christian and living according to the old testament

In the new testament the Bible says we are united to God. You can’t get any closer to God than that and sin doesn’t break that union.

So they say you have to confess your sins so that you'd be forgiven and as a result of that the Fellowship is restored

See as a Christian all your sins are forgiven whether you confess them or not... Infact confessing does nothing when it comes to forgiveness

Thread on HALAL and the threat it poses to Hindus:

📍The Indian constitution calls for equality for all, however Hindu temples have been taken over by the govt., while liberally funding Hajj & other pilgrimages. Hindu suffers silently and continues to dutifully pay his taxes.

📍Halal is a pre-Islamic Arabic word that means ‘that which is permissible. The opposite word is Haram ‘that which is forbidden.

📍In simple words, Halal means nothing but the complete supply chain for the product being Muslim. Right from from raw materials producer, procurer,

manufacturer, wholesale agents, the product exchanges hands only with Muslims.

📍The animals are slaughtered by Halal System under the strict vigilance of recognized & registered Islamic body as per the tenets of Islamic Shariyat.

📍The cost of the products which are halal certified increases as the certification process is not free of cost. Halal certification is a discriminatory process towards the non-muslims especially in the halal meat industry.

📍Halal economy is the world’s fasted growing. Currently, a fee of about Rs.20,000 is levied to certify a product as halal compliant (excl. GST). Every product has to be certified individually. The certificate is valid only for a year and the renewal costs another Rs.15,000.
