Thread on HALAL and the threat it poses to Hindus:

📍The Indian constitution calls for equality for all, however Hindu temples have been taken over by the govt., while liberally funding Hajj & other pilgrimages. Hindu suffers silently and continues to dutifully pay his taxes.

📍Halal is a pre-Islamic Arabic word that means ‘that which is permissible. The opposite word is Haram ‘that which is forbidden.

📍In simple words, Halal means nothing but the complete supply chain for the product being Muslim. Right from from raw materials producer, procurer,
manufacturer, wholesale agents, the product exchanges hands only with Muslims.

📍The animals are slaughtered by Halal System under the strict vigilance of recognized & registered Islamic body as per the tenets of Islamic Shariyat.
📍The cost of the products which are halal certified increases as the certification process is not free of cost. Halal certification is a discriminatory process towards the non-muslims especially in the halal meat industry.
📍Halal economy is the world’s fasted growing. Currently, a fee of about Rs.20,000 is levied to certify a product as halal compliant (excl. GST). Every product has to be certified individually. The certificate is valid only for a year and the renewal costs another Rs.15,000.
📍This is for one product, now think about the multitude of products that the Indian industry produces for local consumption as well as export, this will give you an idea of the scale of the halal economy, in India.
📍Just because Muslims (who make up 15% of the country’s population) want to consume only Halal meat, their practices are being forced upon the rest 85%.

📍Hindu majority is compelled to consume halal meat by Govt. run institutions like the ITDC, Air India, railway catering ..
services, all of them award contracts only to those who serve halal meat. The Indian parliament which is the most sacred space of the Indian democracy is served by the railway catering services.
📍Hindus must question these policies of the Govt. run institutions. Hindus should compel these institutions to make available food that is religiously acceptable, and until then their products should be boycotted.
📍Threat Halal economy imposes on Hindus:
- Opens doors to Islamic Banking and Halalonomics
- Livelihood of poor Hindu butchers ruined
- Businesses being taken over by the minority community in the name of Halal economy– from meats, packages foods, housing projects, hospitals,
medicines, beauty products; even malls are not exempt.

📍To give you an idea of the immense scale of Halalonomics, its the fastest growing economy today, projected to touch a staggering 3 Trillion dollars by 2023, it competes with the Indian GDP!
📍Ravi Ranjan Singh is a member of the Hindu Mahasabha & was a litigant in the Ram Janmabhoomi case. He has been running an awareness campaign against Halal-onomics for more than a decade. He set up the @AuthorityJhatka to counter the spread of the halal economy.
📍The first-ever non-Halal restaurant opens in Kerala, Ernakulam district about year and a half back, to fight against forceful consumption of Halal.

Please support @AuthorityJhatka in large numbers and spread awareness on Halal products and stop funding Islamic organizations that give legal aid to terror.

Assalam Alaiki dear Sister in Islam. I hope this meets you well. Hope you are keeping safe in this pandemic. May Allah preserve you and your beloved family. I would like to address the misconception and misinterpretation in your thread. Please peruse the THREAD below.

1. First off, a disclaimer. Should you feel hurt by my words in the course of the thread, then forgive me. It’s from me and not from Islam. And I probably have to improve on my delivery. And I may not quote you verbatim, but the intended meaning would be there. Thank You!

2. Standing on Imam Shafii’s quote: “And I never debated anyone but that I did not mind whether Allah clarified the truth on my tongue or his tongue” or “I never once debated anyone hoping to win the debate; rather I always wished that the truth would come from his side.”

3. Okay, into the meat (my love for meat is showing. Lol) of the thread. Even though you didn’t mention the verse that permitted polygamy, everyone knows the verse you were talking about (Q4:3).

4. Your reasons for the revelation of the verse are strange. The first time I came across such. I had to quickly consult the books on the exegeses or tafsir of the Quran written by renowned specialists!
