The Hijab is slowly disappearing in the Community.

It’s difficult to be left unsaid that, in the past it’s very apt to tell a woman or a lady is from the northern part of Nigeria by merely looking at her mode of dressing. It’s descent & modest.
The Hijab can be in other forms such as a big veil which is sufficiently wrapped around her to cover her.

This is how the north dress culturally & Alhamdulillah it agrees with the teaching of Islam.
Eventually the Hijab begin to disappear, starting with kids & unmarried women/ladies. They go out pf their homes without it. Such that once you see a hijab, she’s a married woman.

It’s odd & warned about.
Unfortunately today, both married & unmarried women arE Hijabless outside their homes.

And it’s normal, a father, brother or husband doesn’t feel anything wrong to see his Mum or sister or wife going out semi naked, showing their body curves.
If you go to a gathering 9/10 of the ladies at that place are w/o a proper hijab. And they didn’t sneak out to go out, probably their parents or husbands brought them.

This is immoral & disappointing.
When Allah said smth is Haram, it’s bc there is no enough good in it. Indecency in dressing of women birth many problems which are nurtured by other factors.

High rates of
- Zinah
- Homosexuality
- Unfaithful marriages
- Unfaithful romances
- Sexual assaults & stuffs.
There’s a reason why Allah ask the women to cover up fully, this will minimize the rates of the above mentioned problems. In shaa Allah.

Online?
I see no reason for a lady to be posting herself online, let alone a semi nude picture. Wrong upon wrong!
Only Allah knows where your photos went, some people use it for different weird & Haram purposes, unknown to you. If you didn’t make the photos available they can’t get them.

This is fitnah & needs to be addressed.
Wallahi we need to change, it’s killing us. Let alone the punishment that’s waiting on Qiyamah.

It’s everybody’s responsibility to fix this issue.

May Allah SWT guide us all, Āmin

More from Religion

"Hinduism was one of the world's most easy-going faith traditions, famed for it's non-persecutory history."

I can assure you, it is NOT.

It is neither easy-going, nor non-persecutory. In fact it is the very opposite.

Thread.

Modern Hinduism is a British colonial concept, created in concert with Brahmins, who are at the "apex" of the caste system. The word "Hindoo" in fact, is of Persian origin, meaning a person who lives in the Indus valley.

Colonialists who attempted to study Indian religion in the 18th century (NOT, at the time, Hinduism) were baffled by it. Strata of people living distinctly (the caste system) with overlapping gods didn't fit into their Judeo-Christian understanding of religion.

Which has an ecclesiastical authority, a holy book etc., which Indian religions lacked. In studying "The Hindoo", colonialists prioritized textual sources of knowledge, which is where Brahmins, the priestly caste with a monopoly over education/text come in.

Brahminism was a distinct "religion" (although i don't really want to use the term in this way) that was frankly terrorized of other castes. In fact, the very basis of Brahminism is oppression. Brahmins had scholars who recorded *Brahminical* canon textually.
