This is the gospel according to Luke. And these are the generations; no-one begat Anakin, who was slain by Vader; Vader begat Luke and Leia, and Leia begat Ben known as Kylo.

And lo, red five appeared into the rebels, saying unto them, I come with great plans. But many bothans died to bring us this information.
And three imperials came from the east unto the spaceport, saying, where are they that bear the designs of our battle station? seek ye them, tear these ships apart, and find me those plans.
And they sought the plans from the droids, but these were not the droids which they sought, and they went about their business.
It came to pass that Po and Rey came to the starport, but there was no room.
And they said to each other, we must depart unto Hoth, for surely we shall find a white Christmas there. And they spake to smugglers one to another, and fled. But Greedo shot first.
When they had come unto Hoth, they found shepdroids, tending a flock of taun-tauns.
And they gathered together with the shepdroids and hid the plans under a porg, so that the imperials could not find it.
And the wisest magus amongst the imperials became wroth, and he found their lack of faith disturbing.

Great article from @AsheSchow. I lived thru the 'Satanic Panic' of the 1980's/early 1990's asking myself "Has eveyrbody lost their GODDAMN MINDS?!"

The 3 big things that made the 1980's/early 1990's surreal for me.

1) Satanic Panic - satanism in the day cares ahhhh!

2) "Repressed memory" syndrome

3) Facilitated Communication [FC]

All 3 led to massive abuse.

"Therapists" -and I use the term to describe these quacks loosely - would hypnotize people & convince they they were 'reliving' past memories of Mom & Dad killing babies in Satanic rituals in the basement while they were growing up.

Other 'therapists' would badger kids until they invented stories about watching alligators eat babies dropped into a lake from a hot air balloon. Kids would deny anything happened for hours until the therapist 'broke through' and 'found' the 'truth'.

FC was a movement that started with the claim severely handicapped individuals were able to 'type' legible sentences & communicate if a 'helper' guided their hands over a keyboard.
