RUTH HUNT'S RADIO 4 PORKY - AN EXPLANATION
Yesterday, on @BBCRadio4 @BBCPM, Ruth Hunt asserted that it is 'enshrined in law' that trans women are women. Questions have been raised as to the truth of this statement. @RadFemLawyer provides a full explanation:

To obtain a GRC and be able to legally change one's gender today requires a diagnosis of dysphoria and a two year period living in one's acquired gender. Only THEN can a GRC be issued and legal gender change be possible.
Therefore, very few of today's trans identifying males (transwomen) are legally female. ONLY those with a GRC. But, If Stonewall gets the GRA revisions it seeks, any male could attain this legal status quickly and without any diagnosis of dysphoria, or a two year wait.
So, very few of the males who identify as women today have legally changed their gender. Ruth should have said: 'a small proportion of today's trans women (only those with a GRC and a diagnosis of dysphoria) are legally women.' Most are men.'
As well as misrepresenting the truth of today's situation, Ruth implies that the journey to her vision of a Stonewall-engineered post-GRA reform UK represents just a minor development of today's reality - and nothing to make a fuss about.
In fact, Stonewall's version of GRA reform would lead to a vast increase in the numbers of males changing their legal gender to 'woman'. This would represent a huge social and political change - not the administrative finessing that Ruth presents GRA reform as.
Finally, Ruth continues to blur the distinction between 'woman' as legal category, & 'woman' as a concept, as a material condition, as flesh and blood. The fact that biological males with a GRC can be legally women does NOT lead to a redefinition of 'woman' as a material reality.
A woman remains an adult human female. But males with a GRC are legally women - what can be described as a 'legal fiction'. They are women in law - but not women in material reality. We do not need to alter our understanding of 'woman' in response to their legal gender change.
If anyone has improvements or corrections to any of this - please share them. Thank you to @RadFemLawyer for her help enabling me to get my head around this.

He has been wrong (or lying) so often that it will be nearly impossible for me to track every grift, lie, deceit, manipulation he has pulled. I will use...

To do a Namaskaar or bow before someone means that you are humble or without pride and ego. This means that we politely bow before you since you are better than me. Pranipaat(प्राणीपात) also means the same that we respect you without any vanity.

Surrendering False pride is Namaskaar. Even in devotion or bhakti we say the same thing. We want to convey to Ishwar that we have nothing to offer but we leave all our pride and offer you ourselves without any pride in our body. You destroy all our evil karma.

We bow before you so that you assimilate us and make us that capable. Destruction of our evils and surrender is Namaskaar. Therefore we pray same thing before and after any big rituals.

The chorus of this song uses the shlokas taken from Sundarkand of Ramayana.

It is a series of Sanskrit shlokas recited by Jambavant to Hanuman to remind Him of his true potential.

The brave persevering one, your bravery is taking you forward.

The one who is leaping higher and higher, who is firm and stable and seriously determined.

He is strong, and without an equal in the ability/mentality to fight

His anger will cause new fears in his foes.

This is a complex expression seen only in Indic language poetry. The poet is stating that Shivudu is experiencing the intensity of climbing a tough peak, and likening

it to the feeling in a hard battle, when you see your enemy defeated, and blood flowing like a rivulet. This is classical Veera rasa.

His rough body itself is like a sharp weapon (because he is determined to win). Hail this complete

hero of the world.

The hero is destructive in the air/sky as well (because he can leap at an enemy from a great height). He can defeat the enemy (simply) with his fearsome roar of war.
