She Is The First Woman Officer From All Armed/Central Forces To Be Deployed In Counter Insurgency/Combat Operations.

She is the youngest female CRPF officer to be a part of Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (COBRA) and is currently serving the volatile region of Bastar

Usha is a third generation CRPF officer after her grandfather and father, so the passion for the forces naturally developed in her. “Getting into CoBRA was definitely my choice. I had this wish during my basic training at CRPF Academy Kadarpur Gurugram.

But it was an all male force at that time and no woman ever joined CoBRA,” she recalls, adding, “Soon after passing out of the Academy, I first decided to work in Chhattisgarh, and was fortunate enough to get a chance to serve in the Bastar region. During my year there,

I gained knowledge and confidence about CRPF’s counter insurgency operations and also got to practically know about the functioning of CoBRA. That’s when I decided to join the elite commando force,” says the former national athlete, who represented Delhi in triple jump.

THE LEGEND OF NAAK KAATI RANI:QUEEN KARNAVATI OF #GARHWAL

Meaning:

நாம் ஓரிடம் தேடி ஓட வேண்டாதபடி, நம் ஹ்ருதயத்திலுள்ளே எப்போதும் வந்து,

அனைவர் நெஞ்சத்துள்ளும் நித்யவாஸம் செய்கின்ற எம்பெருமானே! அரங்கா!

உன்னை நினைத்துக் கூடப் பார்க்க தகுதியும், அறிவுமில்லா மஹாபாபியான அடியேன்,

உன்னுடைய பரமபக்தன் போலே தோற்றம் கொண்டு,

“இவன் பரம பாகவதன், பரம பக்தன்” என்று காண்பவர்கள் எல்லோரும் வியந்து போற்றும் வண்ணம் சுற்றித் திரிகிறேன்.

"தொடையொத்த துவளமும், கூடையும் பொலிந்து தோன்றிய தோள் தொண்டரடிப்பொடி” என்றபடி கைங்கர்ய வேஷங்களைப் போட்டுக் கொண்டு அலைகிறேன்.

இத்தனை செய்த போதிலும், " அடடா! யார் யார் என்னென்ன நினைக்கிறார்கள்?" என்று அவரவர் நெஞ்சினுள்ளே உறைந்து நின்று,

எல்லாருடைய நினைவையும் நீ நன்கு அறிந்து கொண்டு விடுவாயே!" என்று நினைத்துக் கொள்கையில்,

SRI YANTRA & ITS SIGNIFICANCE
According to ancient Hindu Scriptures,the Sri Yantra is the symbol of Hindu Tantra,which is based on Hindu philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism.Sri Yantra is the object of devotion in Sri Vidya.
Few of the important Yantras r Ganesh,Meru,Saraswati Yantra.

A Yantra in the Hindu tradition is, literally a device for spiritual advancement.The Sri Yantra is, in fact, the central object of worship in at least one important Hindu cult, but beyond its specific context,the Sri Yantra embodies profound philosophical understandings.

That makes it a powerful source of inspiration.Each design element of the Sri Yantra has special philosophical significance.The dot in the very center is representative of the Source of the universe; this dot,or bindu,is the "singularity" from which all manifest reality emerges.

From one point of view, the design is representative of the evolution of the universe itself from its mysterious beginnings, charting its many levels.
The Sri Yantra in its central portion contains nine triangles.

Four of them point upward &represent unmanifest power of the universe;all that is beyond our sense perceptions.They r thought of as being masculine &represent masculine aspect of divinity. Five downward-pointing triangles represent divine feminine &manifest aspects of the world.

WHAT THE VYMANIKA SHASTRA TELLS US ABOUT ANCIENT VIMANAS OF INDIA?

On 28 June 1951, the then Maharaja of #Mysuru inaugurated the International #sanskrit Research Centre in Mysuru. CM of Mysuru state CK Reddy was present and GR Josyer was the Director of that research centre.

The guests were shown all the rare collections of #Sanskrit scriptures and literature gathered from various sources. It was an impressive collection but there was one small handwritten notebook which surprised them the most. That book was "Vymanika Shastra of Mahrishi Bhardwaj".

It was a strange title for the guests &nobody heard about it before.The book contained 6000 lines &1000s of Shlokas in Sanskrit.This knowledge was verbatim transferred by Mahrishi Bhardwaj to Subbaraya Shastri through psychic channeling that was what was told to amused audience.

GR Josyer subsequently translated this book in Sanskrit to English.
"Vymanika Shastra" was part of "Yantra Sarvasva". All these works were verbatim recited and dictated by Subbaraya Shastri after he came out of forest and started living in Anekal near #Bengaluru.

Wen his book Vymanika Shastra was raising many eyebrows, Britishers jailed him under pretext of being freedom fighter.Within few mnths of imprisonment he died of long illness.Fortunately some people saved his works safely. When GR Josyer got to know about it he got it translated.

WAS THERE EVER AN ARYAN INVASION ?

குருகூரிலே அவதரித்த ஸ்ரீசடகோபன் நம்மாழ்வார் அருளிச் செய்த,

உலகுக்கு மஹா பாக்யமாகக் கிடைத்த
ஆயிரம் பாசுரங்களில் அமைந்த இந்தப் பத்து பாசுரங்களையும்,

பொருளுணர்ந்து பாடி, எம்பெருமானைத் துதிக்க வல்லவர்களுக்கு, எந்நாளும் ஒரு குறைவுமில்லை.

THE EPITOME OF COURAGE, VALOUR AND SACRIFICE:RANI DURGAVATI

I am sure,many of us don't even know who Rani #Durgavati was 'coz our #History textbooks don't tell us this. Today, let us learn something about this great warrior queen.

Rani Durgavati was a #Gondwana Queen who fought 51 battles, out of them 3 were against Mughals and she never lost. She was an exemplary woman who got married at 18 and was widowed at 24. At 24, she became Queen of a vast kingdom of mainly tribal people and fought 51 gallant wars.

She was a great war tactician &an exemplary young ruler who never lost any battle.She was born on Oct 5th,1524 in the family of Gurjar Chandela's Rajput ruler Keerat Pal Singh in fort of Kalinjar,Banda,UP. Her family built #Khajuraho temples which r a #UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE

She was married to Gondi King Dalpati Shah in 1542.This brought an alliance between the Gonda family &the Chandelas of Bundelkhand so that they could resist the onslaught of Sher Shah Suri who attacked Kalinjar in 1545.
Same year Durgavati gave birth to Vir Narayan, her only son.

After the death of her husband in 1548, she reluctantly took up throne on the insistence of her ministers who were aware of her abilities &wanted the Kingdom to remain independent.She was only 24 and took up the reign on behalf of her son who was only 5 by that time.

Exotic Aniruddha Saligrama:
Aniruddha is the son of Pradyumna and the Grandson of Lord Sri Krishna. Lord Aniruddha's eternal consort, Usha, requested him in the palace of her father, Bana, where Aniruddha was captured & had to be rescued by Krishna, Balarama,and the Yadava army.

He appears as the Ruler of intelligence.

The Shila has beautiful impressions of Anirudhha on the front of the Shila in the form of layers pointing at one end symbolizing focus and compassion.

It is believed that the worshiper of this Shaligram is always governed by his wit, wisdom, and conviction.

Very good for students for memory retention & concentration.
People who are decision-makers are greatly benefited by the worship of this Shila. It also provides a Vaikuntha like atmosphere & improves tremendously the relationships in the house & at the workplace of the beholder.

The actions of the devotee of Aniruddha Shaligram is always governed by his mind and not by his heart.

The worshiper commands great respect in the society being a learned man and enjoys all the worldly comforts.

பேரொளி பொருந்திய காந்தியையும், சொல்லில் அடங்கா ஞானவெள்ளத்தையுமே தனது திருமேனியாகக் கொண்டவனுமான அந்த ஸர்வேஸ்வரன் எம்பெருமானே,

அடியேன் நாளும் வணங்கும் எம் இறைவனாவான்.

அழகிய சுடரே வடிவெடுத்தது போன்ற திவ்யமங்கள விக்ரஹத்தையுடைய அந்த எம்பெருமானே,

1971 ம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை மாதம் சிதம்பரம் அண்ணாமலைப் பல்கலைக்கழகம் சார்பாக அப்போதைய முதலமைச்சர் கருணாநிதிக்கு கௌரவ டாக்டர் பட்டம் கொடுக்க முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டது!

அந்தகாலத்தில் ஒழுங்கா படிச்சவனுக்கே டாக்டர் பட்டம் கிடைக்காது... கொள்ளை அடிச்சவனுக்கு எப்படி கொடுப்பார்கள்?

ஆனால் கருணாநிதிக்கு கொடுக்க நினைத்தார்கள்... காரணம் அவர் அப்போதைய முதல்வர்.

இதற்கான அறிவிப்பு வெளியானதும், அண்ணாமலை பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் இருந்த மாணவ அமைப்பினர்

எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவிக்க தொடங்கி விட்டனர்.

ஏனென்றால் கல்லூரிப் படிப்பைக்கூட எட்டாத கருணாநிதிக்கு எதற்காக டாக்டர் பட்டம்?
என்பது மாணவர் அமைப்பின் கோஷம்.

இதற்காக அந்த மாணவர்கள் செய்த ஒரு செயல் தான் கருணாநிதியை ஆத்திரம் மூட்டியது.

கழுதையின் கழுத்தில் டாக்டர் என்று எழுதி தொங்க விட்டு

பல்கலைகழக வளாகத்தில் கழுதையை நடமாட விட்டார்கள்.

இது மட்டுமின்றி, பல்கலை கழகச் சுவற்றிலும் கழுதை படம் வரைந்து கழுத்தில் டாக்டர் பட்டத்தை மாட்டி விட்டு, கருணாநிதியை கேவலப்படுத்தினார்கள்...

இது கருணாநிதி கவனத்திற்கு வந்தும் அதை கண்டு கொள்ளாமல் கொஞ்சம் கூட சூடுசுரனையின்றி,

அவ்வளவு மாணவர்களின் எதிர்ப்பினையும் மீறி, போலீஸின் பெரும் படைபாதுகாப்புடன் பட்டமளிப்பு விழாவில் கலந்து கொண்டார் கருணாநிதி.

சாதாரண கருணாநிதியாக அண்ணாமலை பல்கலை கழகத்தில் நுழைந்த கருணாநிதி, டாக்டர் கருணாநிதியாக புதிய பெயருடன் புறப்பட்டு விட்டார்.

1) What are oil bonds & who all issued these bonds?

Oil Bonds were issued by successive governments upto 2010.

during the days when the prices of Petrol / Diesel were regulated.

Instead of paying the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) for the subsidies extended on petrol/diesel & other oil products, the governments used to issue oil bonds as compensation to these companies,

which are like government securities.

These securities are usually long dated securities of 10-20 years.

2) For instance, look at the notification of the Oil Bonds issued during the UPA.

Oil Bonds were issued by all the previous governments till 2010,

when the petrol price was deregulated.

3) What is the worth of Oil Bonds pending?

The budget documents available in the public domain reveal the information of pending oil bonds and the amount of interest to be paid on these oil bonds.

As per annexure 6E of the receipt budget 2014-15, titled

‘Special Securities Issued To Oil Marketing Companies In Lieu Of Cash Subsidy’,

the total value of pending oil bonds by the end of 2013-14 was
₹ 1,34,423 crore.

This is when the NDA government took over.

Kamadhenu - कामधेनू - the wish-fulfilling Cow.

The Cow symbolizes the dharma itself.

It is said to have stood steadily upon the earth with its four feet during the 'Satya Yuga ' (world's first age of truth), upon three feet during the 'Treta Yuga' (the second stage of less than perfection),
upon two feet during 'the Dwapara yuga' (the third stage of dwindling

In this Kshetram, it is said that the Childless couples who pray to Ambegal Krishna will be blessed with an issue.

There was once a rich woman, who resided in Bhadrachalam, on the banks of River Godavari in Andhra Pradesh.

She lost her vision. Our Navaneetha Chora appeared in her dream and asked her to come to Dodda Mallur and do seva to Him following which she made enquiries about this place and reached Mallur.

She prayed Sri Krishna day in and day out. The Lord then restored her eyesight.

From that day on, she would adorn the temple and sanctorum entrances with Kolam (Rangoli) and worship him.

Even though she was rich, she lead an austere life. She would subsist on alms from which she would still save some amount of money for Lord Krishna.

The little Krishna would then appear in her dreams and ask her for jewelry.

She would then have the jewelry made as per the Lord’s demands and offer it to Him.

She renovated the Garbha Griham, Maha Dwaram, etc.

She attained the lotus feet of the Lord doing seva to Him, all her life.

Another incident occurred about one hundred and thirty years ago when the then Maha Raja of Mysore came to have the darshan of Lord Aprameya, Aravindavalli & Krishna at Mallur.

The significance of "Chhera Pahara" - at the Rath Yatra Festival, Puri, Odisha.

There is a saying "rathe ca vamanam dhrstva punar janma na vidyate" which means that a person who sees Lord Jagannath on the Chariot on the auspicious day of Puri Rath Yatra attains Moksha (salvation from the Birth-Death cycle)

Rath Yatra is celebrated every year on the occasion of Ashad Shukla Dwitiya that falls between the months of June-July.

This is the only time when Lord Jagannath and his siblings, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra, are brought out onto the Bada Danda (main street of Puri) and travel (3 km) to the Shri Gundicha Temple (the Mausima Temple) in huge chariots.

Also known as Shri Gundicha yatra or Car festival, it is celebrated to commemorate the annual visit of Lord Jagannath triad to their aunt's house, where they enjoy nine-day stay and are served with sweet pancakes.
