Our Sanatan Dharma talks about Patal Lok or the underworld. It is believed that Patal Lok is the home of the demons and nagas (serpents). Given that a place like Patalkot also exists in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh.

Ancient legends:
The dense green hills in the Tamia region of Chhindwara are inhabited by more than 2,000 tribes. Patalkot is populated by the Bharia and the Gond tribes for many centuries. Until recently, these tribes were cut off from civilized world.

The Bharias hold the belief that it was at Patalkot that Ramayana’s Mata Sita disappeared into the earth, thus forming a deep cavity.

There is also a belief that after worshipping Lord Shiva, Prince Meghnad son of Ravana had gone to Patal-lok through this place only.

Another legend has it that Prabhu Hanuman, entered the underworld through this region in order to save Lord Rama and Lakshmana to salvage them from the shackles of demon Ahiravana.

Patalkot’s dark underbelly:

Patalkot is blessed with dense foliage and is home to medicinal herbs, plants, animals and birds of various species. The top of the valley is as high as 1,200-1,500 ft, and a bird’s eye view makes the landscape appear in the shape of a horseshoe.

Shri Vishnu assumed the form of Narasimha to slay Hiranyakashipu, an asura (demon) king, who was terrorizing the universe and devotee of Prabhu Shiva but he was not coming out of his Avatar even after killing Hiranyakashipu.

The Shiva Purana mentions, After slaying Hiranyakashipu, Narasimha's wrath threatened the world. At the behest of the gods, Shiva sent Virabhadra to tackle Narasimha. When that failed, Shiva manifested as Sharabha.

When Narasimha saw Sharabha, he became more angry and assumed the ferocious form of Gandaberunda. There happened a furious fight between Sharabha and Gandaberunda.

The Vathistabhaana purana mentions that Ashtamukha Gandaberunda Narasimha had destroyed Sarabha with the help of Lord Pradhaneshwara and Bhalukka. Whereas, the Shiva Purana and some puranas mentions Sharabha attacking Narasimha and immobilizing him.

He thus quelled Narasimha's terrifying rage. It is also said that Sharabha then decapitated and de-skinned Narasimha so Shiva could wear the hide and lion-head as a garment.

The Linga Purana and the Sharabha Upanishad also mention the mutilation and murder of Narasimha.

चले राम लछिमन मुनि संगा।

गाधिसूनु सब कथा सुनाई।
जेहि प्रकार सुरसरि महि आई॥

Azad Hind Sarkar' also recognized this currency.
The ten countries that supported the Azad Hind government and the army were Verma, Croatia, Germany, Nanking (present-day China), Manchukuo, Italy, Thailand, the Philippines and Ireland that recognized the bank and its currency.

From ten rupees coins to one lakh rupees notes were issued by the bank. The picture of Subhas Chandra Bose was printed on the one lakh rupee note. Prior to this, only the information of 5000 notes issued by Azad Hind Bank was public. A five thousand note is also kept in BHU's

जब हम अभिषेक करते है तो स्वयं महादेव साक्षात् उस अभिषेक को ग्रहण करने लगते है। संसार में ऐसी कोई वस्तु , कोई भी वैभव , कोई भी सुख , ऐसी कोई भी वास्तु या पदार्थ नही है जो हमें अभिषेक से प्राप्त न हो सके! वैसे तो अभिषेक कई प्रकार से बताये गये है। लेकिन मुख्या पांच ही प्रकार है 👇👇

1) रूपक या षड पाठ - रूद्र के छः अंग कहे गये है इन छह अंग का यथा विधि पाठ षडंग पाठ कहा गया है।

शिव कल्प सूक्त - प्रथम हृदय रूपी अंग है

पुरुष सूक्त - द्वितीय सर रूपी अंग है

उत्तरनारायण सूक्त - शिखा है

अप्रतिरथ सूक्त - कवचरूप चतुर्थ अंग है

शिव के रुद्राभिषेक से होते हैं 18 आश्चर्यजनक लाभ, जरूर पढ़े..

रुद्र अर्थात भूतभावन शिव का अभिषेक। शिव और रुद्र परस्पर एक-दूसरे के पर्यायवाची हैं। शिव को ही 'रुद्र' कहा जाता है, क्योंकि रुतम्-दु:खम्, द्रावयति-नाशयतीतिरुद्र: यानी कि भोले सभी दु:खों को नष्ट कर देते हैं।

हमारे धर्मग्रंथों के अनुसार हमारे द्वारा किए गए पाप ही हमारे दु:खों के कारण हैं। रुद्रार्चन और रुद्राभिषेक से हमारी कुंडली से पातक कर्म एवं महापातक भी जलकर भस्म हो जाते हैं और साधक में शिवत्व का उदय होता है तथा भगवान शिव का शुभाशीर्वाद भक्त को प्राप्त होता है।

और उनके सभी मनोरथ पूर्ण होते हैं। ऐसा कहा जाता है कि एकमात्र सदाशिव रुद्र के पूजन से सभी देवताओं की पूजा स्वत: हो जाती है।

रुद्रहृदयोपनिषद में शिव के बारे में कहा गया है कि सर्वदेवात्मको रुद्र: सर्वे देवा: शिवात्मका अर्थात सभी देवताओं की आत्मा में रुद्र उपस्थित हैं..

और सभी देवता रुद्र की आत्मा हैं। हमारे शास्त्रों में विविध कामनाओं की पूर्ति के लिए रुद्राभिषेक के पूजन के निमित्त अनेक द्रव्यों तथा पूजन सामग्री को बताया गया है। साधक रुद्राभिषेक पूजन विभिन्न विधि से तथा विविध मनोरथ को लेकर करते हैं।

रुद्राभिषेक से हमारी कुंडली के महापाप भी जलकर भस्म हो जाते हैं और हममें शिवत्व का उदय होता है। भगवान शिव का शुभाशीर्वाद प्राप्त होता है। सभी मनोरथ पूर्ण होते हैं। एकमात्र सदाशिव रुद्र के पूजन से सभी देवताओं की पूजा स्वत: हो जाती है।रुद्राभिषेक के विभिन्न पूजन के लाभ इस प्रकार हैं
