#SamsungUnpacked

THREAD ABOUT SAMSUNG and my Disappointment:

Samsung, when are you gonna make a device again which makes the fans not being disappointed in you?

In the past couple of years, when i watch Unpacked, my reaction is not "Awesome" or "Cool" or "i like that"

mostly it's "Oh no, another disappointment"

Why?
A few reasons here:
Removing Headphone jack, Removing Iris Sensor, Removing SD Slot, Removing Charger, Removing Headphones, Removing Heart rate Sensor, Removing IR Blaster, yet still Increasing prices and so on and so on.

I use your products for over a decade and i never was so disappointed in you like in the past (2 to 3 years)
You were a company that listened to the consumers.

If we weren't happy with or about something, you changed it with the next S or Note Device.

But now, all that counts is just the Money and that's actually pretty sad.

You mock Apple and other companies, just to follow them a few weeks or months later.

I appreciate your commitment to new technology and innovation but i CAN NOT support you with your decisions you

made in the past 2 to 3 years.

It makes me sad to see which path you're taking and that you don't care that you leave your roots.

But hey, who am i, right? I don't have millions of followers. So no reason to listen to me?!

I'm just a consumer who supported you throughout all the years. I defended you, i fought for you, i invested dozens of hours in explaining to people why they should buy Samsung and not an other brand...
7/9
and all of that, for what? For you to let us loyal fans down lying to us and disappoint us year after year.

Why "lying"? Example: Charger - you say, it's for the environment but that's a lie. If this would be the reason, you would not charge anything for the charger.
8/9 just like Xiaomi does with the Mi 11.

I don't expect much from this thread but i still hope that some YouTubers or bloggers will see this and maybe talk about it or interact otherwise. If not, it's ok too

I don't want fame or anything, i just want that @SamsungMobile wakes up and understands what they are doing and whos they are disappointing and lying to.

And yes, i know. Samsung is a company and they want to make money, don't try to teach me.

Thought I'd put a thread together of some resources & people I consider really valuable & insightful for anyone considering or just starting out on their @SorareHQ journey. It's by no means comprehensive, this community is super helpful so no offence to anyone I've missed off...

1) Get yourself on the official Sorare Discord group
https://t.co/1CWeyglJhu, the forum is always full of interesting debate. Got a question? Put it on the relevant thread & it's usually answered in minutes. This is also a great place to engage directly with the @SorareHQ team.

2) Bury your head in @HGLeitch's @SorareData & get to grips with all the collated information you have to hand FOR FREE! IMO it's vital for price-checking, scouting & S05 team building plus they are hosts to the forward thinking SO11 and SorareData Cups 🏆

3) Get on YouTube 📺, subscribe to @Qu_Tang_Clan's channel https://t.co/1ZxMsQR1kq & engross yourself in hours of Sorare tutorials & videos. There's a good crowd that log in to the live Gameweek shows where you get to see Quinny scratching his head/ beard over team selection.

4) Make sure to follow & give a listen to the @Sorare_Podcast on the streaming service of your choice 🔊, weekly shows are always insightful with great guests. Worth listening to the old episodes too as there's loads of information you'll take from them.

We know that elite institutions like the one Flier was in (partial) charge of rely on irrelevant status markers like private school education, whiteness, legacy, and ability to charm an old white guy at an interview.

Harvard's discriminatory policies are becoming increasingly well known, across the political spectrum (see, e.g., the recent lawsuit on discrimination against East Asian applications.)

It's refreshing to hear a senior administrator admits to personally opposing policies that attempt to remedy these basic flaws. These are flaws that harm his institution's ability to do cutting-edge research and to serve the public.

Harvard is being eclipsed by institutions that have different ideas about how to run a 21st Century institution. Stanford, for one; the UC system; the "public Ivys".
