A list of questions about the 1/6 siege: a thread. About motives, planning, and operations.

 Did members of Congress or their staff unwittingly take participants in the riot on private tours before the rally? If so, and after the tours, did any of them have reason to think that these tours would be used in service of a seditious act?
Did these private tours (if they happened) bring participants by leadership offices? Did the participants request to see certain Democratic offices? Did they gain access?
During the hour snd a half that President Trump was watching the insurrection in real time, did he explicitly say no to a request for National Guard troops?
Did Acting SecDef Miller speak with the President during this period? Did Trump convey disapproval tacitly? Was he in communication with any outside advisers during this period?
Did Trump’s staff believe he was refusing to put out a statement because Trump generally thought he would succeed?
Before 1/6, what was the extent of any contact between any member of Congress or their staff, and anyone in the administration and their staff, with anyone who was arrested (or will be arrested)?
If it’s true that the Secretary of the Army had full powers to employ the DCNG, why would be need to bump the request to employ the force up to the SecDef? Isn’t alacrity the point of predelegation?
Did the Secret Service send reinforcements to protect VP Pence in the Capitol hard room?
The DOD seems to suggest that 40 minutes elapsed from the request for NG activation until the troops received a FRAGO (basically, an order to mobilize.). What accounts for this 40 minutes? Who worked the request?
Why didn’t the NMCC initiate action on its own as soon as continuity of operations procedures were initiated for the Congressional leadership?
Why aren’t there plans for every member of congress to be evacuated to the COOP site in DC? Flying them off to a faraway bunker is impractical but evacuating them from a besieged target would seem to be a priority?
Has inter-branch tension over continuity of government and umbrella plans for three branches made it hard to conceive of totalizing events like this?
Does the USCP, USSS or any other entity in the NCR have a specific counter-targeting group that feeds recommendations into plans and SOPs?
Have MPD and the USCP ever exercised a joint operation to clear a Capitol that has been taken over by insurgents while members of Congress were present?
Is communication interoperable?
How many command centers were working this? Who was in charge, and when? Was there an incident commander assigned? Did that commander have full operational control over all the assets?
Why doesn’t the USCP have tactical non-lethal crowd control technology (like Shockwave) devices)?
What did Rep. Dan Crenshaw perceive his “special mission” to be? What was the desired effect?
Why didn’t the FBI warn Republican members of Congress that there was significant online violent aspirational rhetoric linked to the Stop the Steal campaign? As in - “Stop saying it because it’s being used to amplify aspirational calls to violence?”
Why weren’t tactical teams assigned to the inner perimeter? (Only one, the team assigned to Pence, seems to have been there. The rest arrived well into the insurrection behind the protestors and were tasked with rescuing colleagues.).
By “unwittingly” in question one I also mean to say (as you move down the line of questions) that were there staff or members who knew in advance that the chamber might be / would be stormed? If so, did anyone inform USCP

Dear Media, here is the clear truth:

Donald Trump is explicitly seeking to turn America into a white Ethnostate.

If you think this is an extreme position or an opinion, you haven't read enough about the white nationalist movement, Stephen Miller, Bannon, Sessions, etc.

Eliminating birthright citizenship is a central plank in a well-articulated, coherent movement to make America whiter.

Blaming Soros is a central tool. It is part of a (crazy, wrong, but internally coherent) theory of the case:
- By nature, people can only form society with their closer kin.
- Yadda Yadda (the arguments are terrible) White people have certain values that non-whites don't.

3/

- All whites, by nature, would know they only want a white society.

- An outside group--hint, it's the Jews!--is tricking them into going against their nature (white nationalists think they know a lot about core human nature).

4/

(continuing views I hate to explain them)

- There is an existential race to save America. By 2046, it will become majority minority and then (in this fevered nonsensical view) there will be a civil war because unlike people can't form stable societies.

(THREAD) The Whitaker scandal is deepening, as it becomes clear that Sessions' Russia recusal was a coordinated sham and his firing an act of obstruction—and that his replacement is a White House plant inside the Mueller probe. I hope you'll retweet and read on for more details.


1/ From 2014-17 Whitaker worked for World Patent Marketing—which during his tenure defrauded consumers out of $26 million and was successfully prosecuted by the feds. His involvement in the scam confirmed he had loose morals and that the feds would never want to employ him again.

2/ Despite the seeming impossibility of a man with Whitaker's background getting a job at Justice ever again—he'd been found to have used his former title as a US attorney to fraudulently threaten consumers with valid complaints with criminal penalties—Whitaker found an opening.

3/ Within 60 days of parachuting out of World Patent Marketing as it was being fined $26 million by the feds, Whitaker was working for CNN and telling a fellow attorney panelist that his purpose in working for CNN was to get noticed by one man—Donald Trump—and thereby get a job.

4/ Whitaker spent his time at CNN making ludicrous statements about the Mueller probe: there was no obstruction or collusion, he said; Mueller had no authority to look into any aspect of Trump's finances or to subpoena him, he said. All the while, he hoped Trump was watching him.

That new attack piece about Seth Abramson is full of easily debunked false claims. Whenever the mainstream media gets annoyed at an indie pundit like Seth, it just publishes a bunch of bullshit about him, and most people mistakenly believe it. They've done the same thing to me.

The sad part is that when the author of that piece tried to smear a bunch of mainstream media journalists for daring to compare notes with him, they all responded by lying and said they've never compared notes with him. Even though Abramson has proof that they have.

This is the EXACT same strategy that certain mainstream media outlets used against me in 2017-2018. First they lied about me. Then they attacked my mainstream media associates for associating with a "fake news" pundit like me. Then some in the media felt compelled to disown me.

Sadly, it didn't matter that I had overwhelming proof that everything said about me in those attack pieces was false. When you defend yourself, no matter how factually, the average observer merely decides you're being "defensive" and therefore guilty as charged.

Ask yourself why the mainstream media is choosing now to dishonestly attack Abramson. The media's ratings are way down now that Trump is gone. Abramson presumably still has his entire niche audience intact. So the media gets jealous and takes it out on him.

Trump has only been out of office and, therefore, no longer (purportedly) immunized from criminal prosecution for ~1 month. Also, because of R delay, Garland is still awaiting confirmation. Once Garland is AG, expect a thorough



2. investigation of Trump for inciting insurrection in violation of 18 U.S.C. 2383, together with other federal crimes. Once that investigation is completed, based on the information that is currently public, there is a good chance that Trump will be prosecuted for violating

3. 18 U.S.C. 2383, together with other federal crimes. Not absolutely guaranteed. But a very good chance. The only element of inciting insurrection that is open to credible dispute is Trump’s intent. Is there sufficient evidence that he intended his speech to incite imminent

4. lawlessness? As you know (or should know), criminal intent is invariably established by circumstantial evidence. That means prosecutors must analyze everything Trump did and said (and didn't do or say) before, during and after his incendiary speech.

5. That investigation takes time. Sometimes a lot of time to empanel a grand jury and begin issuing subpoenas and seeking warrants. The fact that Trump's previous crimes, including the 10 felonies outlined in Vol. II of Mueller's report, haven't been prosecuted is irrelevant.
