I have spent the past 4 years under the tyrannical rule of an out of control Republican Party.
When they rolled back environmental protections they didn’t worry about the future of our children & grandchildren.
When they banned LGBTQ from the ➡️

 military they didn’t worry about people losing their jobs for their sexual preference.
When they banned Muslims & separated families at the border they didn’t care that immigrants are humans and suffer like the rest of us. They don’t even care that immigrants

are vital to our economy.
When they degraded women, minorities, lgbtq, even using racial slurs such as “Guido” they didn’t care who they offended or that children were listening.
When our troops had bounties on their heads, they didn’t care about them or ➡️
the families that worried everyday for their safety.
As they lied & created an alternative reality, they didn’t care about the divisiveness they brought upon the country or the degradation of our democracy.

When they refused to allow the archivist to record the ERA, they didn’t care about the women that fought for decades to get it ratified.
They didn’t care when foreign actors interfered in our elections.
They ignored if not helped the rise of

White Supremacy that is now almost as widespread as Covid.
They don’t care if they infect other people by not wearing a mask.
They don’t care about the incompetence in handling the virus that has led to massive unemployment & has killed over 420k people.

When our black communities took to the streets in anger & grief over because the people who are supposed to be protecting our communities are terrorizing & murdering them instead, they didn’t care.
When they tried to overturn an election

they didn’t care about disenfranchising 81 million people.
When food banks had lines of people trying to get food at Thanksgiving & Christmas, Santa wasn’t coming, evictions were looming, they didn’t

care. Some even had the audacity to post pictures of their decadent meals. And now, their continued lies and allegiance to Donald Trump instead of the Constitution proves that they still don’t care.

Not once did they try to reach across the isle or stop to think how their actions would impact other people. They rushed through a SCOTUS appointment because they could. They left a mentally deranged man in the

White House because of the political repercussions, not the safety of the country.

So let me be clear now. I don’t care about bipartisanship. I care about the people of the country, the future of the country, & reversing the path to totalitarianism they took us down.

Nuke the filibuster. Pass the 1.9 trillion bill. Give Puerto Rico and DC Statehood. Count ever non-citizen in the census. Give everyone healthcare. Protect our environment. After 4 years I no longer care what this

anti-democratic, repulsive, truth deficient, misogynistic, so called Republican Party that uses guns to make up for their minuscule flaccid manhoods & soothe a myriad of daddy issues, thinks we should do.

1/ Two nights ago, Rupert Murdoch called on Mitch McConnell, after hours. Since then, two Fox News-related Twitter accounts have not tweeted.

2/ Trump fired Sessions on Wednesday, replacing him with human dildo/Putin collaborator Matt Whitaker. Sessions had asked to stay until Friday and was told to leave immediately. So there was clearly some urgency to install the dildo...er, puppet.

3/ The Democrats won the SHIT out of the Midterms. Come January, the House check on Trump will leave him so hobbled, he’ll be like the dude from Misery.

4/ Trump went to Paris, ostensibly for an Armistice Day centennial event. He skipped the event, and much of the dinner tonight, because of “weather,” which everyone seems to agree is a bullshit excuse.

I got a Toshiba T1200, which has a bad screen, and a dead CMOS battery, and I thought the hard drive was broken too...


but I rebooted it and heard a KTHUNK and a really loud spin-up noise and holy shit, the hard drive works!


and it still has files on it. the newest date is January 1994.


It's a 21mb hard drive, with ~37k of bad sectors.

This fucker is never going to spin up again, so I better go find some serial cables and copy shit off now.

2) Facebook engineered ways to access user's call history w/o alerting users:

Team considered access to call history considered 'high PR risk' but 'growth team will charge ahead'. @Facebook created upgrade path to access data w/o subjecting users to Android permissions dialogue.


3) The above also confirms @kashhill and other's suspicion that call history was used to improve PYMK (People You May Know) suggestions and newsfeed rankings.

Hey, for people interested in this stuff, here's a thread about a change we made to running our facebook account:

So, about 5 years ago, we got on facebook. Why? Well, facebook has a big audience and they like to consume on facebook. So, we started posting comics there, even though we got paid nothing and facebook made money off the free content.

Why? Because back then, once in a while, you would say "also hey, I sell books" or "hey, I'm going to be signing at this event" and your facebook followers would actually see it.

Effectively, the implicit old arrangement was "facebook lets me reach readers efficiently, and I supply facebook with free content they run ads on."

Over time, like a bad business partner, facebook basically made it impossible to reach your audience without *paying them*. Thus, you supply them free content on which they run ads, and you get nothing in exchange.
