Here is the detailed information of about strategy,

Entry time : 9.30 - 10
Exit : Upto you

Strategy :
Sell weekly ATM CE & PE at almost equal price
For ex : Sell Nifty 17250 CE at 50 and Nifty 17250 PE at 48 so it will become short straddle

Buy monthly ATM or near ATM CE & PE at matching price (5-10 points diff should be fine) as hedge
For ex : Buy Nifty 17250 CE at 150 and Nifty 17300 PE at 155 so it will become long straddle.

Weekly Short straddle + Monthly Long straddle

Adjustment:

• If you feel slightly bullish/bearish then no adjustment needed
• If Nifty moves 50 up or down and sustain then just simply roll up or down half of qnty and keep rest of the quantity. If market goes up or down further then roll up or down rest.

• If Nifty moves one side or about to breach BEP then add equal amount of lot. This can balance tested side. For ex: If I bought 17300 CE 4 lot as hedge then add 4 lot so you will have only one side risk . Note: Remember to keep SL at cost price (only for additional lot bought)

Capital requirement:
2.2 L for 4 lot
Adjustment requires additional capital upto 1L

HOW TO ADJUST A SHORT STRANGLE?

Gone are those days where a short strangle used to expire worthless without any adjustments.

Adjustments are a must when your initial view goes wrong which it will.

Listing down all the ways to adjust a short strangle WITH EXAMPLES below.

1: Rolling up/down:

If you've sold a short strangle and one side premium spikes, you can book the profitable side and roll it up to match the premium of the other side.

eg: If you've sold a 60rs call and a 60rs put. If the 60rs call goes to 100. Then book profits in put and sell a 100 pt put.

This is the most basic way of adjustment.

2: Rolling the losing side:

It's very similar to the above adjustment however, we will consider shifting the losing side instead of profitable side.

eg: If you've sold 50pt call and 50pt put. If the 50pt put spikes up and goes to 120. Sometimes, I wouldn't want to sell a 120 pt call.

Hence, I simply book loss in the put and sell a new put worth 50pts which is farther away from the previous put.

1/ Don't do anything till your breakeven arrives

One reason these strategies go wrong far too quickly is due to adjusting them too frequently.

You can escape most adjustments if you simply wait for the market to arrive at your breakeven.

This will work well in monthly options.

2/ Remove Risk from Untested Side

If you've taken an iron fly and the market has gone up you can shift your put buy upwards and lock the downside risk to potentially zero.

This way you've secured one side and just need to manage the bleeding side.
