USE LOG CHARTS 📈 FOR ANALYSING LONG TERM CHARTS!

Let’s go🧵...

1⃣ Wait, What's Log chart?

Before I define Log chart, let's look at the chart you are using daily - 'The Linear Chart'

- Linear chart is used by default in most platforms. This is probably why you never knew log charts

Wait, don't click on 'log' yet before you understand it...


2⃣ ok, so what does Linear chart mean?

Take a look at the image
- The y-axis is separated equally by 1000 points starting from 0 to 11000.
- So, any linear chart would have its y-axis equally separated by 'N' points always

And... that's where the problem lies...


3⃣ But, I don't see any problem?🤔

Ok ok.. let me explain...

- Can you look at this #TATAELXSI chart & tell me the price in '99 when it was listed? No!
- Can you draw a proper trendline in this chart? No!

Reason is because of the price congestion between '07 to '20...


4⃣ What else?🧐

- Whenever there is a price change in an instrument & it's drastic it'd be difficult to analyse on a linear chart

- Look at this example of #BTCUSD. What happened in 2021(refer to the red box)? 🤔

All this is because of the equally spaced Y-axis!

1⃣ CCI Basics

• CCI > 100 = Bullish and overbought
• CCI < -100 = Bearish and oversold

2⃣Entry criteria

• CCI(34) on Weekly crossed above 100
• CCI(34) on Daily >100
• Entry: above weekly swing high
• Stoploss: Recent swing low on daily chart

3⃣Exit criteria

• CCI(34) on Daily < -100
• Holding period: Few days to many months

Pyramiding your winners should be considered to make your winners big.

4⃣ Why trade on a multi-timeframe?

• This is a top-down approach where we observe the larger trend of the stock before we take entries on the smaller or medium trend of the stock. This concept can be compared to tides in the sea.

3⃣ Stock MUST be near confluence of supports!

What's that? There are two rules

Rule 1:
• Price should be reversing from a major horizontal support zone Ex: #GOKEX

This should be visible clearly on weekly/daily charts


4⃣ Rule 2:

• Price should be reversing from major trendline support

If you also observe
• Candles with long lower wicks or
• Big green candles - refer chart

then winning probability increases😃

This reversal from HORIZONTAL & TRENDLINE Support is reversal from confluence!

I'm still happy that I launched a paid app bcs it involved extra work:

- backend for processing payments (+ permissions, webhooks, etc)
- integration with payment processor
- UI for license activation in Electron
- machine activation limit
- autoupdates
- mailgun emails

etc.

These things seemed super scary at first. I always thought it was way too much work and something would break. But I'm glad I persisted. So far the only problem I have is that mailgun is not delivering the license keys to certain domains like https://t.co/6Bqn0FUYXo etc. 👌

omg I just realized that me . com is an Apple domain, of course something wouldn't work with these dicks

If you're a college student who wants to pay off all your loans... here's an idea for you:

It takes ~$5k to start and will make ~$30k a year of profit

It won't get you rich, it'll pay for college.

The idea isn’t sexy. But it works:

**Plastic Moving Bin Rentals**

Everyone knows moving sucks. The worst part is being stuck with 400 cardboard boxes at the end of your move.

Instead - @benmlevy told me about Gorilla Bins. They dropoff plastic moving bins, & pickem up later.


Let’s break it down. Our goal is to pay for college (~$30k profit per year).

To do that, I think we’ll need $50k in revenue.

The avg move (a 2 bedroom apartment) is $180

To hit our goal, we need do ~5.5 moves per week

COSTS?

How many bins do we need to buy up front?

5.5 moves a week x 50 bins = you need 275 bins. Let’s round up to 300 to be safe.

Ok let’s hop over to @uline to see how much these bins cost

Bingo. Bins cost about $15 a piece.

$15 x 300 bins = $4,500 initial startup costs.

Time to beg your parents or a rich aunt to lend you money to get the biz rolling (...or just take $5k of student loan money and invest it here…)

RISHI BHRINGI AND ARDHA-NAREESHWAR SHIVA

Rishi Bhringi was a devoted bhakt of Mahadev. However, in his devotion to Shiva, he ignored Mata Parvati.

Once, he visited Kailasha along with other Rishis. All the Rishis did parikrama of Shiva and Parvati both except Rishi Bhringi.


The same situation continued whenever Rishi Bhringi visited Kailasha. Mata Parvati decided to teach him that Shiva and Parvati are one and inseparable.
So on one such visit, Mata Parvati sat on the left lap of Mahadev when Rishi Bhringi came.


Seeing this, Rishi Bhringi took the form of a bee(some say bird) and did pradakshina/ parikrama only around Shiva’s head and ignored Ma Parvati.
Angered Mata took away the Shakti from his body. Rishi lost his blood and flesh and was left with a bare skeletal form.


Seeing him in such a situation where he was unable to support himself, Shiva granted a third leg to him.
Shiva then fused one half of his body with that of Ma Parvati and appeared as Ardha Nareeshwar.
Rishi Bhringi finally realised that Shiv and Shakti are one and the same.

The price is steep, but that's the amount of coins I calculated to make these. I have several spreadsheets calculating every expense involved with this project.

The current cost sustains production and development of new tech, and is helping create jobs. We are 2 people now!!

It IS 3D printed, because injection molding is orders of magnitude more expensive for the initial tooling, and I am still making small revisions to the enclosures.

Injection molded plastics are a six thousand dollar commitment for fifteen cent parts. Great for mass mfg.

Also, if you didn't know, 3D printing technology allows for some shapes which would be difficult, expensive, or impossible on injection molding or milled parts!!

Undercuts, which I use in this design, require special lifters to mold that cost a tremendous fortune.
