According to historians, in October 1965, the P@k Army moved from two flanks, namely Kishangarh and Sadewala, to deep inside Indian territory,

but the area in between, where this temple is located, could not be conquered despite heavy artillery fire and fierce combat.
The P@k Army fired around 3000 shells at the area surrounding the temple, but due to divine intervention, the majority of the shells went blind, and whatever burst did not cause much damage.
Residents in adjacent villages also claim that mother Goddes Tanot appeared in the nightmares of certain soldiers and promised them protection if they did not leave the temple grounds.
Later, the Indian Army thwarted the P@k Army's offensive, and the P@k Army made a quick withdrawal after three days of severe battle, leaving hundreds of its troops dead.
Due to goddess favours, two coys of 13 Bn BSF and one Bn Grenadier were posted in the vicinity of Tanot against one Bde of P@k Army during that critical moment of war.
They battled heroically and broke the enemy's backbone. Since then, this shrine has grown in popularity, spreading throughout the region.
Graveyard of P@k Tanks

Only one coy of Punjab regiment coupled with one coy of BSF (14 Bn BSF) repulsed P@k Army's unexpected onslaught in Longewala on the night of December 4th, 1971, due to inspiration and spiritual strength gained from this temple,
which was a unique action in the world history of wars. Longewala is known as the P@k Tank Graveyard, as their whole Tank Regiment was destroyed due to our troops' outstanding coverage.
A Vijay Memorial has been built at the entrance of the temple to commemorate the victory in the historic battle of Longewala, and every year on December 16th, a festival is held with enthusiasm and gaiety to recall the brave exploits of our soldiers.
Navrtara is commemorated twice a year, in April and September, at Tanot, where the BSF runs a free lunger and a free medical camp.
Tanot Goddess continues to defend India's border and soldiers to this day.
Trust of Tanot Mata Temple

Thousands of worshippers flocks to the temple from all across the country to offer their prayers to the goddess. In 1989, the Tanot Mata Trust was established to oversee the temple's offer as well as its maintenance.
According to latest sources, the patron of this trust is Shri S.N.Jain, IPS, and IG BSF Raj FTR, while the chairman is Shri Sandeep Bishnoi, IPS DIG BSF SHQ JMR-I, and the secretary is Shri Prabhakar Joshi Offg Comdt.
Because this temple has a strong public image, tremendous effort is taken to ensure that devotees visiting the temple have the finest possible experience.
This is the spot where Seema Prahari's spiritual power and unwavering dedication to protecting the motherland may be seen side by side.
The real events of the Tanot temple were depicted in the Bollywood blockbuster Border.
Submission of Report by P@k Air Force

When P@ki airforce pilots looked down from above to check what was causing the bombs not to explode, they were surprised to see a tiny child standing with bomb bombardment having no effect on the targeted location.
Following their failure to advance, the P@ki army was ordered to blast more shells, but they failed horribly. And the army was forced to retreat. The P@ki airforce pilots reported this occurrence in their submission reports to the P@ki defense ministry.
The same type of explosives was used in other border locations, but Tanot Mata's area was spared without any human or property harm.
Reach Tanot Mata Temple
Tanot Mata Mandir is situated in the region of Balmer, around 120 kilometers from Jaisalmer. Sand dunes and mountains blanket this region. In this area, the temperature can easily reach 49 degrees.
Because of the desert and high wind speeds, November to January is the best season to visit Jaisalmer. Tourists are certain to have a fantastic time and relax their minds in Rajasthan, a state rich in traditions and civilizations.

How can we use language supervision to learn better visual representations for robotics?

Introducing Voltron: Language-Driven Representation Learning for Robotics!

🧵👇(1 / 12)

Videos of humans performing everyday tasks (Something-Something-v2, Ego4D) offer a rich and diverse resource for learning representations for robotic manipulation.

Yet, an underused part of these datasets are the rich, natural language annotations accompanying each video. (2/12)

The Voltron framework offers a simple way to use language supervision to shape representation learning, building off of prior work in representations for robotics like MVP (
https://t.co/Pb0mk9hb4i) and R3M (https://t.co/o2Fkc3fP0e).

The secret is *balance* (3/12)

Starting with a masked autoencoder over frames from these video clips, make a choice:

1) Condition on language and improve our ability to reconstruct the scene.

2) Generate language given the visual representation and improve our ability to describe what's happening. (4/12)

By trading off *conditioning* and *generation* we show that we can learn 1) better representations than prior methods, and 2) explicitly shape the balance of low and high-level features captured.

Why is the ability to shape this balance important? (5/12)
