To unite all kinds of people, he created two types:

1. Those who believed in 🌺Saguna Brahman🌺

When Brahman does the work of creation, preservation and destruction with the help of his maya (माया), Brahman (ब्रह्म) is called as saguna brahman.

People from different parts worshipped different deities. To create harmony between all, he created Panchayatan, in which only 5 main forms of dieties will be worshipped, that is, Ganpati, Shiva, Vishnu, Devi (Ambika), and Surya.

2. Those who believed in 💮Nirguna Brahman (निर्गुण ब्रह्म)💮

Nirguna brahman is a considered as formless, indivisible, unchanging, attributeless, beyond maya and peaceful. Brahman is Sat-Chit-Anand. And for those who believe this, all dieties combine into one Brahman.

The word 'Advaita' ( अद्वैत ) means non-duality. It is a philosophy which describes that there is only one reality and one truth i.e. Brahman. All else is not real, not eternal and is of transient nature.

Anish Kapoor starts the article with,

"At the heart of New Delhi, the capital of India, sits a Mughal-inspired monument that houses the seat of the Indian parliament."

"The parliament buildings and their grand roadways and water channels follow the form established by the Islamic rulers of Iran and elaborated by the Islamic sultanate of Samarkand and the Mughal rulers of India."

Why is Anish Kapoor so perturbed?

The crux of the matter : his mother was an Iraqi - Jewish daughter of a rabbi who immigrated from Baghdad to India with her family when she was an infant.

He was one of the signatories to banning Narendra Modi from Britain.

On BBC Newsnight on 16 May 2014 Kapoor said Modi was a man with “blood on his hands”.And again hes back in the news bashing Modi on his UK visit and bashing Hindus as the Hindu Taliban.

MYTH AND MYTHOLOGY:

All religions and all ideologies (eg: communism, liberalism and so on) are a part history and a part myth.

As for religious myths, the academic types might want to read Joseph Campbell's book, "The Power of Myth".

I put down below some quotes of his :

1. Each myth is psychologically symbolic. Its narratives and images are to be read, therefore, not literally, but as metaphors.

2. Myth is much more important & true than history. History is just journalism & you know how reliable it is.

As far as ideologies are concerned, their mythology lies in their tall claims about their success in the real world. As we all are aware, this whole ideology of communism has proved to be just a myth as it has failed everywhere.

Even Mother Russia has forsaken Communism and mobocracy rules there now! Liberalism's self-proclaimed victories are a pure myth too because there's no liberal state.

Even the liberal dreamlands such as the Scandinavian countries have had to adopt non-liberal policies to check jihadism and Islamism brought in by the migrants.

Besides the above, today's Mythology becomes tomorrow's history as

Devi/Devtas at the spiritual level, are forms or manifestations of God or Ishvara, the Cosmic Lord and Creator, representing his powers, qualities or various ways of imagining him. They are the principles of Bhakti Yoga.

There exists a yet higher level of Consciousness, all Devis and Devtas are forms or aspects of Brahman, the impersonal Godhead (Cosmic Intelligence /Aakashik field) behind and beyond the manifest universe. They are powers of Gyana Yoga.

The divine trinity are the Creator (Brahma), Perserver (Vishnu) and Dissolver (Shiva) or the three aspects of Ishvara relative to the gunas of rajas, Sattva and tamas.

Yet of the three, it is Shiva that is the closest to Brahman.

In this regard, Shiva is Nirguna Brahman, beyond all manifestation, Vishnu is Ishvara, God or Saguna Brahman as the ruler of the universe, and Brahma is Mahat Tattva or cosmic mind.

Similar is for Sarasvati, Lakshmi and Kali, it is Kali that is the closest to Brahman and a personification of it.

Kali is Brahman’s supreme power or unlimited Shakti – the power of pure power of existence, which as the infinite and eternal exists behind space and time.

The worldly wealth creates attachments, which will continuously result in greed, jealousy, selfishness, ego, hatred, violence, etc.

Bhagwan Mahavir has said that wants and desires have no end, and only the sky is the limit for them.

An attachment to worldly objects results in the bondage to the cycle of birth and death. Therefore, one who desires of spiritual liberation should withdraw from all attachments to pleasing objects of all the five senses.

Monks observe this vow by giving up attachments to all things such as:

Material things:  Wealth, property, grains, house, books, clothes, etc

.Relationships:  Father, mother, spouse, children, friends, enemies, other monks, disciples, etc

Pleasure of Five Senses:  The five senses are touch, taste, smell, sight, and hearing.

Feelings:  Pleasure and painful feelings towards any objects.

They have the equanimity towards music & noise, good & bad smells, soft & hard objects for touch, beautiful & dirty sights, etc

The USS Enterprise, at 75,000 ton, was the world's largest nuclear-powered aircraft carrier in the 1970s with more than 70 fighter aircraft, a MONSTER.

The Indian Navy’s fleet was led by the 20,000-ton aircraft carrier, Vikrant, with 20 light fighter aircraft.

The USS Enterprise was being dispatched to secure American citizens in 🇧🇩 was the 'official' American statement.

Unofficially it was to threaten the Indian forces and prevent the liberation of East Pakistan.

Shivkar Bapuji Talpade got fascinated by the Vaimanika Shastra flew an unmanned aircraft successfully in 1885, 8 years before the Wright Brothers.

He named this aircraft as Marut Sakha. Marut = wind and Sakha = Friend. "The Friend of Winds".

His aircraft flew at a height of 1500 ft whereas the aircraft designed by Wright Brothers flew only to a height of 120 ft.

What Vinayak S@varkar faced?

1. Each cell measured 13'6" by 7'6" with a very small ventilator.

2. There was a distinction made between Hindu and non-Hindu prisoners.

3. The Janeu of the Hindu prisoners was cut off whereas M prisoners were allowed to sport their beards.

4. The prisoners were released only for some time in the morning, afternoon and evening (just three times a day) to answer their nature calls. Locked at 7 pm till 7 am.

5. For the 12 hours of night they were given a small clay pot to relieve themselves.

6. The food given in the jail often caused diarrhoea and hence many prisoners defecated on the floors of their cells. One had to sleep in the same cell with excreta floating.

7. The sweeper threw tantrums to clean the cell and agreed only if he were offered tobacco.

8. Each prisoner was given 3.5 gram of salt per day. Sometimes kerosene oil was mixed with the breakfast of rice kanji/ganji, which caused diarrhoea.

9. For torture, they were handcuffed and made to stand from 7 am to 11 am and thn from 12 pm to 5 pm. The feet were chained too. This punishment sometimes lasted for several months. If one couldn't control nature's call during this period, he was punished more.

Here is a loose translation of these verses:

" The screen, in the form of mind, on which the image of the world arises, gets torn apart/

Just the way, there is no reflection to be seen when a lake completely dries up //" 5.28.156

"Thus, when the mind disappears altogether, where is the sense of a separate Self etc then/
Therefore, the body itself turns into Bramhan/(This) The person experiences//" 5.28.157

Upanishads and Scientists.

The Upanishads are a collection of Sanskrit texts transmitted orally from teacher to student over thousands of years.

Upanishads are concerned with the nature of reality, mind and the self.

Some of the more well-known among the physicists who brought about a major change in Quantum Physics were Einstein, Niels Bohr, Erwin Schrödinger and Werner Heisenberg.

Schrödinger was first exposed to Indian philosophy around 1918, through the writings of the German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer.

An ardent student of the Upanishads, Schopenhauer had declared, “In the whole world there is no study so beneficial and so elevating as that of the Upanishads. It has been the solace of my life. It will be the solace of my death.”

The Isha Upanishad states, “the Brahman forms everything that is living or non-living … the wise man knows that all beings are identical with his self, and his self is the self of all beings.”

Schrödinger was fascinated by this thought.

Savarkar, Rajguru & the generally little-known martyr, Vishnu Ganesh Pingale.

Actually, Pingale was one of those who had inspired Bhagat Singh, as Bhagat Singhji's diaries show.

Pingale was born on Jan 2, 1889 in Maharashtra & was hanged to death at Lahore on Nov 16, 1915.

Along with Lala Hardayal, and Dr.  Khankhoje, he formed a revolutionary organization in the US, called the 'Ghadar Party'.

A man with great organisational skills, intelligence, & dynamism apart from his native Marathi, he had mastered Hindi, English, Urdu and Punjabi.

While at school, dressed as a Sadhu, Pingale had traveled all over India. This art of disguise later became very useful to him as a revolutionary.

He earned a mechanical engineering degree while in the US.

As the 1st World War raged,Pingale came to India with the aim of liberating the country through armed revolution

He traveled throughout the Punjab region & met various revolutionaries.
He further traveled to Calcutta, Benaras & other places inviting people to join the revolution

The remaining pages gave evidence of the funds to media houses, cultural & intellectual organisations by the Soviets.

The media houses were given funds to produce 'fake news' namely :

1. US was breeding killer mosquitoes in Pakistan border to attack Indian population

2. CIA was behind Indira Gandhi’s assassination.

3. The US Defence Intelligence Agency was funding the Sikh terrorists.

200 Indians (staff at Soviet embassy in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai) entertained journalists to plant KGB agendas. They had a budget of 20 million dollars allocated for propaganda activities.

Hindu Calendar NEW YEAR

There are many theories regarding the creation of the Universe, such as the Big Bang theory, the Proto-universe theory, the Inflationary theory, the Bubble Universe theory, etc.

Out of these the Big Bang theory is most widely accepted by the scientific community (still s bit controversial). According to this theory, the big bang occurred almost 13.8 billion years ago and the Universe came into existence.

In a Hindu Scripture, the ‘Chandogyupanishad’, it is said that the Supreme God (Parameshwar) made a sankalp (resolve) ‘I am one, I will manifest in several forms’, and the Universe was created. (Tat Tvam Asi).

The calculation of the number of years since the creation of the Universe as well as the number of years till the dissolution of the Universe has been done by the Rishis in India. Rishi Vasishtha has mentioned that the creation of the Universe happened 34.5 billion years ago.

The creation of the Universe happened on the Hindu Calendar Date (tithi) of Chaitra Shukla Pratipada. Thus, the Hindu calendar begins on the sunrise of this tithi. This date usually falls on any day from late March to mid-April on the Gregorian calendar.

Kashi Vishwanath Temple history

In 1194, more than 1000 temples were demolished by Qutub-Al-Din-Aybak. These sites remained untouched for the next 50 years till Razia Sultan constructed a mosque on the forsaken place of the Vishwanath temple.

Vishwanath temple was reconstructed in the area of Avimukteshwara, which again faced partial destruction by Mahmud Sharqi.

In 1494, Sikandar Lodi demolished several temples including the Vishwanath temple.

In 1585, a scholar Narayan Bhatt rebuilt the temple.

Mahmud Ghazini and Shah Jahan (1627-1658) demolished all reconstructed temples.

It was Aurangzeb in 1669, who ordered the demolition of Vishwanath temple and built a Gyan Vapi mosque.

Aurangzeb destroyed several temples but also wanted to change the name of Varanasi.

He wanted to name it as Muhammadabad but was unsuccessful.

It was Ahilyabai Holkar who took the initiative to rebuild the temple around 1775.

The present Vishwanath temple is fairly small in size compared to the original one.

On April 13, 2021, the managing committee of the mosque & the UP Sunni Central Waqf Board have moved the Allahabad HC to restrain the proceedings of a local court, which recently directed the ASI to conduct a physical survey of the mosque compound adjacent to the temple.

MUDRAS AND THE SCIENCE BEHIND IT.

Mudras – meaning ‘seal’, mark’ or ‘gesture’ in Sanskrit – are said to intensify the effects of our yoga or meditation practice and enhance the flow of energy. They are also used in Indian classical dance.

Any living body is made of 5 distinct elements :
Fire, Wind, Ether/Space, Earth, and Water.

According to Ayurveda, disease is the result of an imbalance in our body caused by a deficiency or an excess of one of these 5 elements.

The 5 fingers represent : Thumb:fire, Forefinger:wind, Middle finger: space, Ring finger:earth, & Little finger: water.

The fingers essentially act as electrical circuits & the use of mudras adjust the flow of energy which balance these various elements & accommodate healing.

The finger tips of every living being have many concentrated nerve root endings which are free energy discharge points. Science also confirms that around every tip there is a concentration of free electrons.

By touching together of the tips of the fingers or the finger tips to other parts of the palms this free energy (Prana) is redirected back into the body along specified channels, back up to the brain.

Because Mudras work on Nerves, they are "Neural Science."

These days people often use "Vasudaiva Kutumbakam".

The most common meaning thought is " The world is my family".

Used for immigrants, Rohingyas, and several other political contexts.

I always wondered: Would we allow a terrorist/thief/murderer/rapist into our house in the name of Vasudaiva Kutumbakam?

This popular phrase in Sanskrit is, in fact, the last part of a full verse, meaning ‘He is mine and the other is not, this is how a narrow-minded person thinks. For the high-minded one this world is but one family.'

In this verse, a narrow-minded person is self-centred.  This is how he always thinks: ‘What I do is right and what others do is wrong. My way of thinking and feeling is true and the way others do is false. I am sincere and others are not as sincere as I am.'

Ultimately it means that ME and MYSELF are right, true, sincere, intelligent, and unbeatable. This is narrow-mindedness and the most widespread disease.

Acc to her, a woman is more prone towards minute observation of dealings in the external world. Man remains engrossed in his own thoughts and emotions. External goings-on would not catch much of his attention. Therefore, woman has far more acute powers of observation.
