Last Saturday, a friend I was with in a club in Westlands picked up a fight with two guys. He was thoroughly beaten as I watched. Today, he has sent me a long text message lambasting me for being a fake friend for I sat out of the fight instead of helping him.

He expected me to help him as friends do and because he was the one who had bought the booze that we were taking. There are two reasons why I chose to enjoy while he was being clobbered instead of fighting alongside him.

I was barely a month old at my aunt’s place. I had moved to her place that December because I wanted to join the nearby primary school which was producing better KCPE results.
On this day, a day after Christmas, we went to graze her cattle in the bush.

And the priority on the trade in goods also makes no sense for a service economy, which we are since the Tories abandoned manufacturing.

I get asked for free advice a lot. Seriously, a lot. Although I do a certain amount of work for free each year, I tend not to carry out free work except through a recognised pro bono scheme such as Advocate or ELAAS.

It's never as simple as answering your quick question; it's answering your quick question, along with the quick questions from anything up to 15 other people who email, tweet or message me with their own quick questions every single day.

I woke up this morning & Google photos reminded me that it was my traditional wedding on this day, 3 years ago & as some of you may or may not know, I am no longer married & unashamedly so. Today I am going to share a bit about marriage from what I experienced & learnt. A thread

Firstly, a disclaimer - I am not a marriage counsellor, therapist nor do I know much. I am only sharing from experience.
So, my marriage lasted for about a year or a little over. Trad was in Dec 2017, white in January 2018 and the marriage ended in February 2019.

Let me tell you the truth guys, marriage can be beautiful. At least I experienced its beauty though briefly. Also marriage has nothing to do with how long you date. We dated for almost 4 years, so that's long enough. But lots of signs were ignored.

So I'll be sharing 7 major lessons I learnt from my marital failure (which I actually don't see as a failure because I gained peace, restored joy, confidence and more).
