What is expected to be the final day of President Trump’s second impeachment trial will begin at 10 am et today. We anticipate a final vote on the guilt or innocence of the former President as early as midday.

This tweet may slightly be off tangent and there may be outage; that doesn't mean one can't express what one feels about issue(s).. I've divided it into 3 parts - part 1 is about the outage at twitter - on them blocking Donald Trump- of these I'm astonished at some big handles ..

2. How many of them have read the rules/regulations as expressed by twitter - whether it's legally tenable to the law of the land is a different question - Trump himself , when his personal account got suspended used the id of Potus - all his noise could've been made in that id .

He fell into the trap well laid by the opposition , because he used his emotional quotient rather than his wisdom. Period. There's no reason claiming otherwise or using it as a comparative narrative - Eos; moreover, the unity among luteyns and the left , obnoxious they're, the RW

lacks it - RW fights among themselves and more the popular you're (I'm sticking to that definition by twitter standards), to me they're just another user of SM. The kind of reporting they do , and the alogrithm built in, suits them, do the RW ever done that on a single account ?

NO being the answer - why are we cribbing ? Part 2 is even more sensitive - look at the peacefuls, look at the white coats, do the warring Hindus - do we have the unity - we don't - when the cause is common, whether it be temples or any social issue, including the #DikkiSonas,

Savanna’s Act & The Not Invisible Act become law today. These laws start to address the epidemic of missing & murdered Indigenous women. Trump is taking credit for it but their passage is the result of the tireless work of Native women & their allies, including women in Congress.

There is little data available regarding #MMIW & a problem that these laws will help fix. The data we do have is astonishing. Native women are murdered at 10X the national average & it’s the 3rd leading cause of death for Native women age 10-24. Experts say these figures are low.

The Trump administration uses #MMIW as a prop & shield while they plunder Native lands, desecrate sacred sites, forgo Tribal consultation, threaten us, disestablish Tribes & target Tribal sovereignty by attempting to give control of our homelands to states (see EPA letter to OK).

Every Native family on the Reservation knows a Native girl, woman or transperson who has gone missing or was murdered. This has gone on for decades & action on it is a long time coming but give credit where its due—with the Tribes, Native women & Congresswomen who made it happen.

Reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act with provisions to help protect Native women! #VAWA4All #SavannasAct #NotInvisibleAct #MMIW

So you’d think that under Trump there would’ve been more successful filibusters than ever given Democratic opposition.

Nope.

The vast majority of cloture votes passed — the Senate already nuked the filibuster for things Republicans care about



During the Trump era, there were an historic number of cloture motions filed in the Senate: 529 of them. 466 of them got votes — 93% of them passed

Compare to Obama’s first term: only 70% passed the first half, 57% in the

Why? In 2013, Senate Dems nuked the 60 vote threshold to get past a filibuster on nominees, except for SCOTUS, but left it for legislation

But when controlling Congress and the WH, the GOP didn’t move much legislation. They got what they wanted

So when Mitch McConnell says “no no, you have to keep the filibuster for legislation” it’s because he knows that it doesn’t matter when the GOP is a majority

The filibuster isn’t a useful tool for Democratic minorities — just Republicans
