I’m honestly just so sick to death of seeing hypersexualised female celebrities. It’s so, so damaging and to think that my nieces are growing up surrounded by it makes me worry constantly about the next generation of girls and women.

And it’s so fucking prevalent. Hypersexualised female celebrities are the norm, not the exception. Especially black/brown women. When I think about how every single Top 40 song sung by a female is about male pleasure, it hits home how profoundly mired in patriarchy we are.
Can we just have female celebrities that aren’t forced to sexualise themselves? Is that too much to ask for the diet that young girls grow up on?
Ariana grande’s latest album is *literally* named after trying new sex positions—for a man. The most famous pop song by women of last year, WAP, was literally about male pleasure and the lengths women will go to for it, and included the lyrics, “I wanna gag, I wanna choke.”
Don’t even get me started on the imagery. The music videos, the photography. The constant fucking nudity. The way almost every dance move is an allusion to sex.
And then society has the audacity to say to me that this shit is empowering? Sorry but my nieces are growing up on a diet of this shit, I cant afford to pretend for your delusions. It isn’t empowering. It’s misogyny. It’s male gaze that women have bought into because it’s easier.
It’s easier to buy into it than acknowledge the depth of the hold patriarchy has on us. The depth of how it deludes us into believing objectifying ourselves is empowering.

That empowerment is capitalism, even if the market runs on the principles of male pleasure.
These women are making money, so how can it be misogyny?

If the primary way women can make millions is to sexualise themselves, we haven’t progressed as a society. We’ve just managed to cover up prostitution in fancy words and designer clothing. Patriarchy has tricked us.
I cannot abide by this. I will not abide by this.

Internalised misogyny is real, and instead of accepting any “choice” a woman makes we need to be pointing out how damaging they are.

And whether they’re truly free choices, or “choices” manipulated by patriarchy.

The Nashville Operation - A Battle in the War

A thread exploring the Nashville bombing in the context of the 2020 Digital War (via SolarWinds) against the United States perpetrated by our enemies, likely China, Iran and/or Russia.

SolarWinds Hack

A digital "Pearl Harbor" moment for the United States, whoever was responsible had access to the keys to the kingdom for months during 2020, including sensitive military infrastructure. This is war!

SunGard + SolarWinds

SolarWinds software company is owned by same company that owns SunGard, which essentially provides data center services. A secure place to host internet servers with redundant power and "big pipe" data connections.

SunGard Data Center

In Nashville, around the corner from their "big pipe" connection, AT&T. Like any data center, highly secure. Only authorized personnel can enter, and even fewer can access the actual server rooms. Backup generators are available in case of power failure.

If the SunGard hardware was being used to "host" critical command and control software related to SolarWinds, the US powers would be very interested in gaining special access keys that are stored on the hard-drives of specific servers.
