Let's talk menstrual cups and periods. Ask me whatever questions you have and I'll do my best to answer.

I have been using a cup since June 2020 and it has literally freed me. I use a Sirona Small. I've answered some really common questions below.

 1. The best way to find your size is a finger test. You will need to insert a finger in your vagina and then find your size. This video will help you:

2. Don't go by the descriptions on the menstrual cup website. Your age has nothing to do with your cervix size. Your size can't be changed unless you give birth. So, you have to measure it. Make sure to measure it when you are close to your period.
3. When you pick a brand, pick one that is FDA approved. This ensures the brand has used quality silicone for the cup. You can check the measurements for Sirona Small and approximate for other brands. I bought mine from Amazon.
4. Women have 3 different holes which connect to three different systems in the body. Your vagina connects to the reproductive system. Your urethra or pee hole connects to the excretory system and your poo hole/butthole is the final step of your digestive system.
5. Why am I talking about this on Twitter? Because we keep matters about periods buried so deep. It makes no sense to not talk about it. We talk about mental health, so I vote we start talking about periods too.
6. I'm a man, why should I know this? Because there is no reason for you not to. Your mother, sister, or friends will be going through periods. You should know what it is, know that many get cramps and know what periods are. It's time to normalize this.
7. A cup will break my hymen? No. I found this interesting video online which said a hymen is simply a film with small holes covering your vagina. It is not a curtain that blocks everything. The holes are meant for your period flow to pass. So, you won't "break" anything.
8. Why cups? A sanitary pad is made majorly out of plastic, bleached cotton and other chemicals to mask the smell. It takes 500-800 years for one pad to decompose. The soaked blood develops germs once thrown which causes infections in ragpickers.

Menstrual cups are made of medical grade silicone. Silicone is NOT plastic. It doesn't absorb anything from your vagina, thus minimizing chances of infections. That's why an FDA approved brand that does required quality checks.
9. But period blood is impure/dirty. How can I touch it? Just to smash this redundant thought, when a woman becomes pregnant, the same blood+lining becomes food for the fetus. So, this blood is really not impure. This is your own body we're talking about.
10. I'm scared, what do I do? It is very natural to be scared. It took me a few months to get the hang of it. I ordered the wrong size which was problematic. Once I got the right size, it was a breeze. But using a cup is like doing anything new. There are jitters. But go for it

11. How I remove the cup: I have not cut the tail of my cup. I sit on my toilet seat, breathe in and push (like how we push to poop). The muscles push the cup a little towards the vagina. I pinch the cup to break the seal and then use the tail to gently pull it outside.
I empty the cup in the toilet, wash it with water and reinsert it. It is very simple, takes very little water and doesn't make a mess anywhere.
12. How to keep the cup clean: Before and after your period, make sure to put the cup in boiling water for 5 to 10 mins to sanitize it. Once you take it out to empty it, clean it with water and reinsert.
13. How many years can a cup be used? Many say a cup can be used for 10 years. However, I have read accounts where women change it in 5 to 6 years. Depends on the care you take.

5/ Lincoln’s audience knew the history of slavery and many had suffered personal loss in the ongoing war. Dr. King’s audience knew the history of violent racism, segregation, and unequal economic opportunity. The Proclamation freed the slaves, “but the Negro still is not free.”

So much #FactCheckBait being put out by IT Cell today and so many people biting.

What is #FactCheckBait? Fascists putting out tweets or messages with very obvious rebuttal properties. So non-fascists are distracted by rebutting or fact checking them. And the fascists get more name recognition. What have the top sanghi twitter accounts done other than provoke?

Why are so many sanghi bigot handles famous & well followed on Twitter despite having no notable quality other than getting called out by liberals? Cos that's all it takes. If they can fool liberals into QTing or even screenshot-ing them, they become heroes and then are like


Another example of #FactCheckBait. This sanghi wants you to identify them while pointing out the very obvious flaws in their logic. This sanghi is counting on it to improve their visibility. Don't give them that oxygen. Call them out like this, without IDs, if you must.


As pointed out by @bongopondit, peak #FactCheckBait was Ted Cruz saying rejoining the Paris climate agreement was about appeasing Paris not Pittsburgh. He knows it's BS. He's an evil psychopath but not dumb. He wants you to QT him and distract from his insurrection efforts.

A long thread on how an obsessive & violent antisemite & Holocaust denier has been embraced by the international “community of the good.”

Sarah Wilkinson has a history of Holocaust denial & anti-Jewish hatred dating back (in documented examples) to around 2015.


She is a self-proclaimed British activist for “Palestinian rights” but is more accurately a far Left neo-Nazi. Her son shares the same characteristics of violence, racism & Holocaust denial.

I first documented Sarah Wilkinson’s Holocaust denial back in July 2016. I believe I was the 1st person to do so.

Wilkinson has recently been publicly celebrated by @XRebellionUK over her latest violent action against a Jewish owned business. Despite many people calling XR’s attention to her history, XR have chosen to remain in alliance with this neo-Nazi.

Former Labour Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell MP is among those who also chose to stand with Wilkinson via a tweet.

But McDonnell is not alone.

Neo-Nazi Sarah Wilkinson is supported and encouraged by thousands of those on the Left who consider themselves “anti-racists”.

Trump on climate: I don't believe it. Trump on Khashoggi: I don't believe it. Trump on Russia: I don't believe it. Idiocy? A canny game? Doesn't really matter as much as the underlying intellectual autocracy. In this administration only one opinion matters.

It's an assault on facts and reason. It's an assault on good governance. It's an assault on the bureaucracies that are being discounted. It's an assault on science and history. But it is also an assault on one of the underpinnings of democracy.

We live in a system that is grounded on the idea of collaborative government. Leaders may have a final word but even then, there are typically checks and balances. Hopefully, in this case, such checks and balances may work. But they also are being tested.

The president's position that he is smarter than all the world's scientists, than the entire intelligence community, than experts who have studied any issue all their lives, is, of course, asinine. But his belief that government turns solely on his opinion, is monarchic.

Louis XIV reportedly said, "L'etat est moi." That he was the state. Trump asserting that he knows better than all, discounts all advice, that his brain is enough to chart the course for America alone, is essentially saying the same thing.

KANTESHA means Prabhu full of brightness.
Here, Sri Hanuman appears with a front face and sparkling eyes. Earlier, the village was also called KANTESHPURI on the name of Kantesha Hanuman.


Several thousands of years ago, Hanuman lived in this village. He once saw the Sun and mistaking it to be a fruit, began flying towards it. Since then, this village came to be known as Kadara Man Dalagi. (Kadar means rays, mandala is cluster of rays).

Kanaka Dasa was the first devotee to popularize the power of Kantesha. It is said that once Kanaka Dasa was deeply wounded in a battle. To seek blessings, he visited Tirupati but Sri Venkatesha appeared in his dream and advised him to see Kantesha first before seeing him.
