RSI is an oscillator which is set to fluctuate between 0 and 100. Adding an MA to it would give a perspective of its location, at the max. Its never support or resistance

Aneesh ji, Like in PA we have undercut and reclaim of some major MA some significance, does it have any significance in RSI?

If u know how ATR, RSI, Bollinger Bands etc. are constructed,
what exactly are they measuring,
how does it disagree with price at times,
how it responds to various trend phases etc
U probably would reckon that indicators works as much as price or volume.

Do u know them well??

Start fibo retracement from swing high, not the other way around. Simply 0 point should b where retracement started
2.
The base should b chosen as major swing low. Can't just pick a random point

10 week EMA is more logically powerful than a 10 day EMA. The reason being in weekly TF, 10EMA represents 50EMA in daily while 10 day EMA corresponds to much less important 50EMA in 75 min TF.

In the same way 40 week EMA is proxy to all important 200EMA in daily.

If u are a pullback trader u get to take an entry very close to the end of a counter trend move which offer a very tight SL.
In case for a trend follower, the candle size near to the trend phase he is aiming at is way too larger and hence offer a much wider SL

Combined premium should be trending down & below VWAP to create a strangle

I need to analyse overall market breadth, futures data & option chain activitiy.

I used @SpiderSoftIn to scan momentum stocks for intraday.

Spider helps in identfiying :

stocks hitting 52 week high/ low
Stocks making day high/low
Stocks with large buying single orders

There is a supertrend indicator in zerodha. For swing go with 60 min chart. Check with different numbers in period and multiplier section.
Check success rate of buy and sell signal generated by system. Apply number according to decide buy and sell for swing trade.

Few paid service provider are using only this signal to give clients buy and sell trade.
Do with your own. Don’t pay them.

UNDERSTANDING MACD
Moving average convergence divergence (MACD) is a trend-following momentum indicator that shows the relationship between two moving averages of stock.
It is calculated by subtracting the 26-period exponential moving average (EMA) from the 12-period EMA.

The result of that calculation is the MACD line. A nine-day EMA of the MACD called the "signal line," is then plotted on top of the MACD line, which can function as a trigger for buy and sell signals.

This post is pretty bizarre, but it manages to hit on so many false beliefs that I've seen hurt junior data scientists that it deserves some explicit

(1) The notion that R is well-suited to "building web applications" seems totally out of left field. I don't feel like most R loyalists think this is a good idea, but it's worth calling out that no normal company will be glad you wrote your entire web app in R.

(2) It is true that Python had some issues historically with the 2-to-3 transition, but it's not such a big deal these days. On the flip side, I have found interesting R code that doesn't run in modern R interpreters because of changes in core operations (e.g. assignment syntax).

(3) "Most of the time we only need a latest, working interpreter with the latest packages to run the code" -- this is where things get real and reveal some things that hurt data scientists. If this sentence is true, it's likely because you don't share code with coworkers.

(3) Really is a broader issue in data science: people only think of what they need to do their work if no one else existed and code was never maintained. Junior data scientists almost always operate on projects they start from scratch and don't have to maintain for long.
