I've a few thoughts about Trump and how we got here, going …

I've just finished @Mikel_Jollett excellent book Hollywood Park, can't recommend it highly enough (and his band album etc) In the book he describes growing up with a Narcissistic mother amongst other things.

When he describes how every single thing that happens was through the prism of how it effected her and how it made her feel reminded me of Trump. To start with Trump is deeply disturbed individual, he was brought up as a racist.

He's risen to power by the use of racism however I don't think that's why he's become what he is. He's exploited institutional racism to help himself feel better about himself.
I see institutional racism as a result of an exploitation of power.

The fact that some people have a genetic predisposition to higher level of pigmentation in their skin can never be a logical reason for bias. Due to the historical imbalance of power it is exploited to consolidate power and with it riches.

This is then compounded by exploiting poor leading to white people in lower "classes" being exploited too and therefore the all lives matter crap. People with power and money use this to increase their power and money.

I digress, back to Trump.
Back in the 80s he took out a full page add calling for the death penalty of the Central Park 5, who remember are 100% innocent.
Undoubtedly he did this not out of genuine concern for the victim but to seek praise and agreement.

Interestingly I see this as using Media as Social Media before it went social. (I'm aware of the irony here)
This raised his profile made him feel better about himself and set him on a direct path to the mess we are in today.

This was his first, that I'm aware of, opening using institutional racism to boost his own feelings. He was raised by a racist who used this to gain money and power, he used it to boost himself.
He's not a successful businessman by the measure that if you took

The money he was given by his father and randomly invested in the top 100 shares it would have done better by an incredible margin.
However by coming out with racist statements it boosted his profile and gave him a platform to further the need he has to validate himself

and make himself feel good. I as I say he's a disturbed individual, it's all about him.
Once his profile was given this boost he discovered he had a platform. If he needed a boost media would rush in give him profiles in magazines then TV shows

This helped his narcissism all the attention showed he was important, showed he was better than other people but more importantly made him feel better by showing it was all about him.
With this profile boost it lead him to the fame and eventually to his own TV show

The Apprentice was a horrible show. People line up to serve him, they start off praising him making it all about him.
As a narcissist he felt this was the greatest thing ever, it gave him validation. He believed it should've won Emmys not because it was the best show

But because he thinks he is the best, most important person. After all need a show that was successful which started with contestants telling him this. Remember this it'll come up again

With the rise of Social Media coincidentally rising as his source of validation, the show was declining, he jumped on it to gain the validation he needed.
I say need because once again he's not very smart, he's not a good businessman he needed people to agree and praise him.

When the Obama birther movement came along he jumped on the bandwagon. It's just not true, a demonstrable lie but it gave him the validation he needed.
I think eventually he did come to believe it not due to evidence, there is none but because it served his primary purpose

That is to make it about him. It covers his shortcomings and gives him the attention he craves. After all how could someone become the most powerful person in the world through talent and ability alone when he believes that is him.
It's all about him.

By this stage all that happened was in motion. The narcissist had the attention he craved but unfortunately he had a path that would lead him to the power, the riches, the attention and validation he so badly desired.

His business's weren't successful as many people have pointed out repeatedly. The casinos, the hotels, the bankruptcies etc. Trump University was a classic example of a hustle he ran to serve his narcissism. From what I've read it was a study in how he was great

The only purpose was to fuel his ego, if he made money that was a bonus, which he did, that's how hustles work.
All of this I feel lead to him running to be president. That was the only thing that would feed the narcissistic personality, to make everything about him.

It costs a lot of money to be president, you need financial support to do this, look at Mike Bloomberg need the money but not the platform. Trump had the platform and let's face it not the money. How he got it? I'd recommend @SethAbramson excellent work on this

Many people say it's to further his ideology, it isn't he doesn't have one other than to fulfil his deeply disturbed personality. This is why you'll have seen his position on issues change based on the last person to compliment him. It's all about him and he's not very smart

He uses a racist platform and is a racist because he believes that he is superior to everyone. He wants validation.
He thinks he can grab women by the pussy cause it makes him feel good about himself. He has beauty pagents so beautiful women can praise him.

As for all the allegations of sexual assault, why not? You think he needs consent for something that makes him feel good? No he needs the validation he thinks he deserves it therefore there is no need for actual consent. It makes him feel better ergo it is the right thing to do

The @StormyDaniels incident is a great example. She came out to find him naked he did this because it would make him feel good therefore why should he ask her consent? Made him feel better about himself so there is no need. I'm not saying this was an assault, she herself

Has said it wasn't so I support her decision. What I am saying it is an example of his narcissism.

I've mentioned @SethAbramson and his writings on proof of collusion. He doesn't see anything wrong here even though the evidence is there. If he'd been impeached for this it would've been justified in my opinion but he sees it as something that helped him

and if it helps him it can't be wrong.
At every stage when he does something despicable it's a means to an end and they end is feeding his narcissism.

The constant lies all have one thing in common they feed his desire for validation. He had to have won the popular vote because that means he's the best. The crowd size at the inauguration had to be the biggest because that makes him the best. It justifies that he is better

Than everyone. When he made that phone call that got him impeached he doesn't believe he did anything wrong because he was doing something that makes him feel better. He's not there to serve the country, the people he's there to serve himself. He despises the people they

Aren't him, therefore aren't important to him.
Her jokes about dating his daughter because she is beautiful (physically) he would have a carnal desire and deep down I think he would act on that cause it would make him feel good because, once again, it's all about him

He can't accept he was beaten in the election because that would mean he isn't the best.
In the bizarre phone call to the Georgia officials was him saying things like it didn't feel right that he lost. Deep down he must know he lost but his physiological state means

He can't accept it. Therefore it must be a fraud. When he says a fraud against the American people he is talking about all that matter you him, himself.
When they brought up that evidence on social media wasn't evidence he said it wasn't social media it was Trump media

He's that disturbed he believes now that it is there solely to serve him. I would call it Demagoguery but it's to fulfil his needs. He doesn't think he's a demigod because that would involve demi meaning half. His condition is that he is the only one.

This all lead up to yesterday. It was the final stage in proving that he wasn't the Alpha to the Omega. He was trapped the final stage of the confirmation of Biden was upon him. He can't accept that he could not be the best, defeat literally isn't an option

He had to stop it happening and that was the only option open to him. Again he would see no wrong here. What happened showed he was right. He doesn't care about the country, the people. They are not him, why should they matter.

When he was forced to make a video he continued to lie to stoke the troubles because that proved he was right, he was the most important person.

So what next?
He had to be impeached, he is mentally unfit for office.
He genuinely believes the election was a fraud, he believes all the normally impeachable things he has done were the right things to do because it served his primary purpose, HIMSELF.

This belief is the reason his damaged narcissism has lead him to a state whereby he no longer knows right from wrong, fact from delusion. #25thAmendmentNow

Normally when I get this way about politics I go to the pub with a mate and subject them to this but the pubs are closed. I miss pubs.

Now coming closer to him I see parallels with the UKs own mini Trump, Boris Johnson. I don't think he's as physiologically damaged he's just an entitled prick. There are similarities but also differences

The main one being he isn't a narcissist, he believes he is entitled to be Prime Minister. Him and his backing of Brexit it s a means to an end and that is him being PM.
Both use racism to gain power. Brexit is the consolidation of power to increase power and wealth.

I've seen it pointed out many times that during the Corona virus crisis Johnson doesn't react quick enough because he doesn't want to give bad news. Which is a terrible flaw to have in a time of truly fucking bad news for a leader to have.

He resists lockdowns cause that is bad news. His fear isn't driven by greed like so many of the people behind the anti lockdown/virus/reality groups. It's because he so desperately wants to be a leader, he wants to be viewed like Churchill a beloved figure in the minds of

Many of the British public. He fears giving bad news will mean people won't like him, this will mean that he doesn't get to be Prime Minister. He's felt he is destined to do this, to be a great leader. Unfortunately he's not, not even close. He does everything in his power to

Avoid losing his precious, his destiny his Prime Ministership. He lies fudges facts figures in order to retain his position. Yes he's said racist things but they were again a means to an end. In his case to gain the position he believes he's entitled, born to have.

So where do we go from here?
I look back to history to guide the future and two incidents stickk out when it comes to true leadership. Firstly the 1916 presidential election. Woodrow Wilson realised that a decision about America getting involved in World War 1 was imminent

He made a pact with the Republican candidate that if he lost he would install him as Speaker of The House. Then he and the Vice President would immediately resign making him president immediately. It should be noted that the inauguration didn't take place till March back then

This of course never happened but the willingness to put country first is an example of leadership.
The second is Clement Attlee who introduced the NHS specifically Nye Bevan. At the time they were told that this was political suicide and would loose them the next election

Spoiler alert, it did. To get this done they had to fight against not only the Tories but members of his own party and unbelievably now the BMA British Medical Association.
They knew that in founding the NHS it would cost them but did it because

they believed it was the right thing to do.
This should be what to look for when choosing a political leader or party. When it comes down to a tough decision even though it is unpopular will they do what is right even if it costs them everything? Will they put country over self?

I thought Jeremy Corbyn would've done this although he is a terrible leader, I think Keir Starmer would do it to, a better leader but feck me everything isn't run by committee ya dick.
I think Biden also would do the right thing.

At the end of it all we elect leaders who have bodyguards that are expected to jump in front of a bullet to protect them. Start we should ask is would they jump in front of metaphorical political bullet to protect us?

If we don't do this then, The needle returns to the start of the song
