Not for nothing, but the evilllll Wisconsin Elections Commission which supposedly enacted all these illegal voting rules is a bipartisan body made up of three Democrats and three Republicans.
Apparently the lack of info on the website about election night procedures for ballots cast via drop box is proof that they violate the Equal Protection and Due Process clauses.

No, they don't have actual information about what happened on the night of 11/3. Why do you ask?

They're mad that registrars looked up the addresses of witnesses and filled it in on some unspecified number of ballots.

Oh, FFS. They're mad that they mayors spent all their grant money on increasing voter turnout, and none of it on helping poll observers harass county workers doing the canvass.
Those dastardly big city mayors did it ON PURPOSE! They deliberately got everyone to vote by mail so as to overwhelm the poll watchers.

Nothing to do with covid — it's obviously a part of an evil scheme.
To be clear, the Trump campaign hasn't alleged even one single case of a fraudulent vote being case in Wisconsin. But the fraud *could have happened*, which is the same thing, right?
So there's nothing for it but for the legislature to step in and refuse to certify the election results.

Fun fact: The election was already certified two days ago. But the Trump campaign isn't big on facts, fun or otherwise.
Sorry I didn't get mad enough until 20 pages into this case to start tweeting about it. The first 15 pages were arglebargle about the orgiastic joys of federalism, with a bunch of mentions of Bush v. Gore, in case SCOTUS needs a reminder that it can ratfuck elections at will.
Followed by a heavy handed reminder that the state legislature is the election's REAL DADDY, so state officials (i.e. the Defendants) have to run the election without interpreting any laws.

Never mind that the WEC was appointed by elected officials.
Then they got real mad that election officials — you know, the ones who are supposed to tremble before the legislature — didn't harass more voters who said they were too sick to come to the polls.

Followed by ten pages of saying that absentee voting is bad and shameful, although completely legal.

Anyway, all they want is for the court to throw out the election results, which have just been confirmed by recount.

Oh, and attorneys fees. Because the state should pay the Trump campaign for the privilege of being sued.

But this suit is garbage, and they haven't managed to persuade any other federal court to toss out tens of thousands of votes and hand the election over to the legislature. So ... don't worry too much.
And forgive me, this suit was filed by Trump personally, as candidate, not by the campaign.

In my defense, I read the campaign's suit plus the Krakhead filing last night. So. Much. Stupid.

Jacob Rees-Mogg has admitted the Tory leadership coup looks like being delayed to December - after the 'meaningful vote' on the PM's Brexit deal.

Speaking on his @ConHome 'Moggcast': "Some people don't want a leadership vote now, they would like it when the meaningful vote comes up and think that is the time to put in letters."

JRM: "I think the strength of feeling against the meaningful vote is much stronger than the number of letters that has gone in. If there are letters in, very few of those letters will be withdrawn - so the hurdle is much lower when the meaningful vote comes."

He tells @ConHome the apparent failure of the coup could be a blessing in disguise: "In a way it is better that there has been this delay, though I can't pretend that there has been some cunning plan, because we have allowed time for people to see the failures of the policy."

2/ But the summary is that Summers, Geithner, Orszag, Emanuel agreed on telling Obama and Biden in December 2008 that about $800b was an adequate stimulus. Would lower unemployment just below 8% by late 2010. Romer thought $2.1T or $1.7T was needed to achieve full employment.

3/ They wouldn't let her make the case in writing for $1.2T because her number could leak. The reasons for $800b were: they wanted the bill passed by February, so they could move on to health care reform and cap and trade; they had no ways to spend more;

4/ spending more might kick off inflation or cause markets to fall for fear of inflation; that might lead to more bank runs; more bank runs might require a second TARP so they couldn't ask Congress for too much for recovery; Pelosi would give them whatever they asked

5/ for but they didn't think they could get the needed 1 or 2 R Senators quickly if they asked for more; they wanted 60 but had only 58 D Senators; popular "moonshots" or signature items in the package would take too long (Biden asked for that);

That new attack piece about Seth Abramson is full of easily debunked false claims. Whenever the mainstream media gets annoyed at an indie pundit like Seth, it just publishes a bunch of bullshit about him, and most people mistakenly believe it. They've done the same thing to me.

The sad part is that when the author of that piece tried to smear a bunch of mainstream media journalists for daring to compare notes with him, they all responded by lying and said they've never compared notes with him. Even though Abramson has proof that they have.

This is the EXACT same strategy that certain mainstream media outlets used against me in 2017-2018. First they lied about me. Then they attacked my mainstream media associates for associating with a "fake news" pundit like me. Then some in the media felt compelled to disown me.

Sadly, it didn't matter that I had overwhelming proof that everything said about me in those attack pieces was false. When you defend yourself, no matter how factually, the average observer merely decides you're being "defensive" and therefore guilty as charged.

Ask yourself why the mainstream media is choosing now to dishonestly attack Abramson. The media's ratings are way down now that Trump is gone. Abramson presumably still has his entire niche audience intact. So the media gets jealous and takes it out on him.

Black movie goers know which movies are for us and which films aren’t. We really don’t like our stories being made into films that center (and humanize) people that hate us. The filmmakers/studio know that by naming the film “The Green Book”, black movie goers...

...are going to be expecting a story about black people trying to safely navigate the country (real history) and instead will get a white savior film. Like folks went to see Detroit thinking it was about the riots...

Anywhoo, I know Mahershela is fantastic in it. He was the best thing about the trailer. As rich as the history behind the creation of ‘The Green Book’ is/was, as amazing as Dr. Don Shirley’s story is, WHY is this film about a random, racist driver and his family?

This feeds into the ignorant anti-Black American stereotype of “Black Americans don’t have any culture/history/mythology” or whatever. That our stories are still both being used while simultaneously erased in 2018 is wild to me. It’s gonna clean up come award season. 🤦🏾‍♀️

And now, if black filmmakers WANTED to make a film about The Greenbook, guess what it can’t be called🙃. Just like if someone wanted to make a film about the actual Detroit riots, guess what it can’t be called? Then those filmmakers would run into...

A long time ago, I was a talent agent. I worked for a woman named Susan Smith, who had her own small boutique agency. She was known for three things:

1. She had fantastic taste in clients. If there is someone you admire, odds are good that at some point, she was their agent,

2. She could negotiate a deal like few who have ever trod the earth. Casting would give her all the money they had budgeted for that part, plus a little more, plus promising to get her dog Barnaby groomed. She was magnificent to watch.

3. She was insane.

I'm sure you're thinking, "Quinn, it's the entertainment industry, they are all insane." Yes, many are. So consider this; if you told someone you worked for Susan, people who worked for insane people would look and you and whisper, "I hear she's insane."
