ONE night, a man was angry that his wife had raised her voice when speaking with him. How could she disrespect him? How could she be-little him?

This man,convinced that his wife had crossed the line,decided to go and complain about her to a man who had much knowledge about (1)

As the man was just about to knock on Umar’s door,he stopped in his tracks.He heard a voice coming from inside,a woman’s voice. It was Umar’s wife,she was speaking loudly and her voice(2)

overrode her husband’s.
That was Umar ibn Al-Khattab in there, the fierce ruler of the Muslim Empire that had stretched East and West, and his wife was freely and confidently voicing her opinion and discussing important matters with him.

According to Imam Ghazali there are 3 grades of
fasting

1. Ordinary Fasting: Abstaining from food, drink and
other desires.
This is the type of Fast that everyone observes

2. Special Fasting: Keeping your sense organ ( eyes , ear, tongue, hand, feet ) free from sin.

Jabir relates from Anas (RA). that the prophet, on him be peace, said: Five things break a mans Fast: lying, backbiting, gossiping, perjury and a lustful gaze.

This is practiced by righteous people .

3. Extra Special Fasting :

🍁This is Fasting of the heart from unworthy concerns and worldly thoughts, in total disregard of everything but Allah SWT.

🍁To the utmost dedication to Allah, disregarding everything else.
This fasting is practiced by prophets and Auliya Allah

🌴Fasting of the eyes :

• See not what displeases Allah SWT
• Restrained from viewing anything that is blameworthy
or reprehensible– That distracts the heart and diverts it
from the remembrance of Allah SWT.

[THREAD] Why the Qadiyani (or Ahmadiya’a) community aren’t Muslims and Mirza Ghulam is an impostor ?

Mirza Ghulam was born in 1835 in India, he’s the founder of the movement claiming Islam. This movement is called "Ahmadiyya" or "Qadianiyya".

Coming from a Sunni and Sufi family, he would have been immersed very early in learning Islam and would have learned Arabic around the age of 10.

We will now see more about him and his sect :

In 1889, Mîrzâ Ghulam said that he had received a "revelation" from Allah designating him as the Mahdi and mujaddid.

First problem, the Mahdi must descend from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and bear his name. What you need to know is that "Ahmad" is just a late addition to give credibility to his pseudo-prophecy.

***Thread - The current state of Ummah***
We muslims and the muslims scholars always say - the Quran is the final, complete, universal and incorruptible word of god (which is true), but why is it that our "islamic governments" fail to enforce laws based on the Qur'an...

A few days back, fornication was legalised in the UAE (which is strictly prohibited in the Qur'an)
And with saudi Arabia's suspicious activity with Israeli officials, we as an ummah are bound to ask ourselves few questions

What led to this?
Who is responsible?
What are we doing?
Does the majority of our ummah even want to do something about it?
What can be done?
Who can do it?

Q1 - what led to this?
This question has answers we all know, but we turn a blind eye towards it.
After the fall of the Ottoman Islamic khilafath we can safely say that it's secularism (Ataturk) which responsible for it...

...And that's ironic, as muslims who live in secular states vouch for the secularism mentioned in those states' constitution for the protection of their rights...

Music has been so normalized that “scholars” have even misguided people on it. May Allah forgive us and guide us, aameen.

This will be a long but informative thread on this topic, in shaa’ Allah

Ibn Masud (rAa) said about this ayah: “It is singing, by the one and only God” he repeated it 3x (Tafsir Tabari 11/61)

Ibn Abbas says the same thing (recorded in Adab Al Mufrad), so do Jabir Ibn Abdillah and Ibn Umar. As well as Ibn Abbas’ father (radhiAllahu ‘anhum)

The scholars of tafsir regarding the voice (of Iblis):

Mujahid: It is singing, flutes, distraction, falsehood (Tafsir Tabari 15/81)

Hasan Al-Basri: It’s the duff and the flute (Tafsir Samani 3/258)

Ibn Abbas said: It is singing. Upon hearing the Quran, they (the mushrikeen of makkah) used to sing and play. (Tafsir Tabari 13/82)

Mujahid also says the same thing in Talbis Iblis by Ibn Jawzi (p. 231)
