 New Demshevik Party narrative spread by their most loyal attack dog Washington Post: the GOP and the 75 million people who support Trump are potential terrorists, similar to the Lebanese terror organization Hizb'Allah.
For those who don't remember or were not born at the time, Hizb'Allah or Hezbollah perpetrated the 1983 Beirut bombing that killed 200+ Marines. This act forced the US and UN to pull out their peace keeping forces and started the civil war that turned Lebanon into ruins.
By calling the GOP a terrorist organization, the communists running today Democratic Party are using the same old but proven tactic of communist/fascist demonization and de-humanization of their political enemies.
Portraying political enemies in the subservient media as a group of soulless terrorists and irreconcilable enemies capable of mass murdering innocent people is a tactic long used by totalitarian communist and fascist regimes...
to inflame the public opinion against certain categories of people and social categories (like for example the bourgeoisie, the Jews, Gypsies, Tutsi, Bosnians, Armenians, kulaks, clergy, dissident writers and other intellectuals).
This kind of propaganda always worked to inflame and convince a majority of the low information population support illegal surveillance and repressive violent action including arrests, imprisonment and mass killings.
This is how genocides always started whether they happened the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe during the Cold War, in Nazi Germany in Africa, in Yugoslavia, in Turkey, in communist China, in Cuba, Cambodia and many other places.
Communists are in full preparation for what they have planned for us next: the egg breaking they consider necessary for the cooking of the socialist omelette.

(2 of 2) I believe this is a coincidence. That said, because I don't think Manafort aiding and abetting a rally that ended in insurrection is coincidence, I have to assume that—out of an abundance of caution—law enforcement will investigate any possible Manafort-Liebengood link.

(PS) It is vital that no one presume connections where there may be none. My point is that as a criminal investigative matter, Manafort will be investigated for any role he had in the Save America March, and Liebengood's suicide would naturally be investigated due to its context.

(PS2) I'm sure there'll be those who say that a Donald Trump event giving tons of money to a company that enriches Paul Manafort at a time when Trump continues to need Manafort to stay quiet and Manafort is having money problems is a mere coincidence.

*That* I do not agree with.

(PS3) By the same token, as a federal criminal investigative matter, when you are about to have numerous investigations into whether security at a government building had been pre-compromised and someone who worked security at that building commits suicide, it gets investigated.

The state of our constitution is a bit like the state of the neglected electric wiring in an old house. If you are moving into the house, sorting it out is a bit tedious. Couldn’t you spend the time and money on a new sound system?

But if you ignore the wiring, you’ll find that you can’t safely install the new sound system. And your house may well catch fire.

Any programme for social democratic government requires a state with capacity, and a state that has clear mechanisms of accountability, for all the big and all the small decisions that in takes, in which people have confidence.

That is not a description of the modern UK state.

In other words, the partly confrontational policy of the West towards Russia is anachronistic.

Yet the "geopolitical logic" of today's more confrontational policy towards Russia has nothing to do with the Warsaw Pact or the Cold War. It's not true that the West is caught in anachronistic thinking.

Sanctions and the renewed focus of Nato on territorial defense was a response towards Russian aggression against Ukraine: Putin started a war of aggression against Ukraine and has annexed parts of the country, with over 13.000 people killed.

An irony of facebook's situation.

Sheryl got her MBA at Harvard. One of the most famous cases (Extra Strength Tylenol) in one of the most famous classes (Business History) she took: in 1982, someone put cyanide in Extra Strength Tylenol capsules and killed 7 people in Chicago.

What do you do when someone turns your product into a weapon? When they use the system you built to harm? James Burke, CEO of J&J, was shockingly open with the public, he pulled the product and made significant packaging changes to make product safer (but not tamper-proof).

He over-shared every step along the way re investigation, redesign, stood up as both CEO and human. The reintroduction of new Extra Strength Tylenol succeeded. Burke saved the brand.

But four years later it happened again. A killer put cyanide in the capsules, this time a woman in Yonkers died. Same CEO, Burke, pulled the product again, completely changed the form factor from capsule to caplet and relaunched *again*. It worked *again*. How'd they do that?

Burke (CEO) tapped J&Js goodwill bank account w/ the public. Two big withdrawals from that bank account in four years + 8 dead bodies! But his honesty, openness, humanity (choked up about the deaths more than once), humility kept the goodwill bank balance positive the whole time.
