Jupiter signifies growth. When it goes retrograde you experience this growth internally. Its more of a philosophical & a spiritual growth. Jupiter does this in a cycle after every 9 months of its direct motion/outward growth.

Jupiter will be in retrograde in sidereal Aquarius until September 14, 2021 and then go back in Capricorn.

Jupiter will go direct on October 18, 2021.

How to check its affect on you?

Study the house it is retrograding in for you based on your rising sign and moon sign.

What is it?

When all the 7 visible planets are hemmed between the Node: Rahu & Ketu.

This condition indicates a certain imbalance in life.

Splits one's life in 2 parts. One extraordinary, one lacking something.

Like in the example chart Rahu in the 10th house will retrograde over all the visible planet in progression. It will engulf all the planets in its mouth.

In my research I found this imbalance to give extra-ordinary powers in one aspect of life and taking away another.

The other version of this imbalance is KAAL AMRITA when Ketu leads this condition. Example chart attached.

With Kaal Amrita condition person becomes more spirituality inclined with Ketu going over all the visible planets in progression.

I should mention that both Kaal Sarpa or Kaal Amrita are not mentioned in any classic manuals but has only come as an observation in the last 100 years or so.

Many prominent people like Nelson Mandela, Margret Thatcher, Alfred Hitchcock, Actor Rajnikant have this in their chart.

While analyzing this condition look at the strength of the sign rulers of both the nodes.
