👉 Physical distance
Keep the phone with the internet switched off and away from you while studying. You can also keep it locked and with a parent/ friend. Heavens will not fall while you are studying and if it is something urgent, you will get the message.

👉 Technological solution:

Use apps like Blackout to block internet for at least 6 hours every day. Force yourself to study in that time. It is not a free app, but it is very effective. Once it blacks out the phone, you can't go back for the period

👉 Early morning study

Keep the alarm away from you, on loud volume. Most likely once you get up from the bed to switch off the alarm, you will decide to not go back to sleep and study. Early morning study is the best these days especially as it has lesser distractions

Categorizes decisions based on whether they are reversible or irreversible

👉 Reversible - 2 way door: Can go back from decision with less/no cost
👉 Irreversible - 1 way door: If enter once, can't exit (Or the cost is very high)

👉 Reversible: decide quickly without perfect process. Dont take much time.
(This is not to be reckless though)

👉 Irreversible: Decide slowly and take as much information into account as possible

When Bezos was deciding to leave his job at DE Shaw to start Amazon, he thought that he could come back to job if Amazon doesn't work. So it was a reversible decision.

MAHARAANI TARARANI: THE QUEEN OF MARATHAS

Rani Tarabai was the brave daughter-in-law of Chhatrapati Shivaji and one of the greatest medieval Monarchs India ever had.
She was born in 1675 to one of the bravest commander-in-chiefs of Shivaji's Army named Hambir Rao Mohite.

Tarabai was just 8yrs old when she was married to Shivaji's younger son, Rajaram. Mughals and Marathas were constantly at war with each other. Shivaji was crowned the ruler of the Independent Maratha Swarajya in 1674 which was established by him.

However,the great leader died in 1680&the Maratha Samrajya went into a complete&total chaos.Marathas saw some very tough times ahead. In 1689,when Raigad Fort fell to the Mughal Army of over 15000,Shivaji's first wife Saibai and his elder son Sambhaji were captured&put to death.

Sambhaji's wife and son Shahu were taken prisoners to the Mughal court. During the same battle, Shivaji's second son Rajaram(Tarabai's husband) , who was the heir to the throne now, managed to escape using a disguise. He made his way to the Gingee Fort in Tamil Nadu.

Mughal General Zulfikar Khan, however, followed them to Gingee laying siege to the Gingee Fort. From 1690-1698,This was the longest siege by a Mughal Army of any Fort which stands testimony to the military and diplomatic credentials of Rani Tarabai.

It is at Sringeri that Shankara spent 12 of His precious 32 years!!

That gives you and idea how much He loved this place.

Rshyashruga maharshi had a horn on his forehead, a result of being born to a deer. His mere presence was enough to shower rains!!

Rshyashrunga was one who led Putrakamesthi Yaagam of Dasaratha Maharaj and which resulted in Sri Rama's birth!!

4. Redirect any future cash receipts / revenue into non SVB accounts. Don’t throw fresh money on the fire.

5. If SVB is your only current bank. Open accounts with 2 other AA or A rated banks.

6. Go supplier by supplier and grade them a, b or c

c - don’t pay

7. Find out how to get your $250k FDIC cash.

8. If you are able to pull any deposits or bonds back into a non SVB account. Do it. Put hands on any liquid you can.

If u r doing it on zero leverage(meaning u have full capital of around bnf's notional contract,i.e. 40000*25 = 10lacs), then u r most likely going to make better than fd or anything like that.
Simple rules : friday,monday, tuesday do for weekly. Wednesday and thrusday next week

So, gamma moves can't impact much.
Another better version of mahesh chander kaushik is to do it for monthly expiry.
Bigger premiums and never hav to worry about 200-300 points sudden moves.
2. 2nd version : have combined stoploss of premiums and re-entry criteria. Example :

Let say 40000 straddle is at 600. Sell at 600 and hav combined sl at 650. Many algos are providing this. U can even place stoploss in % terms. Like, if sold straddle at 400 and placed 10% sl, means if 440 combined premium touch, it will be stoploss.
Let say, in morning,

U sold straddle at 600 and it sl hit at 650. Now, u placed reentry at 600 with same sl. This time may be linear decay happens and u may cover morning's loss and make some profit.
3rd version : stoplosses at each leg and trail sl to cost type.
Example , 40000 straddle at 400.
