We are not done yet, Covid-19 is striking again, courtesy, lack of discipline among the people, the election crowd adds to the woes. However, this post is not about Covid-19 but a worse virus than that - politics and politicians.

For the first time, it seems that, there is a consolidation happening as far as Hindus & Hindu votes are concerned. All along, the perception in Tamil Nadu is, if someone hurts the sentiments of SanatanDharm (read Hindus), it was an attack on Brahmins & not the rest of the Hindus
Anti-Hindu statements and actions were treated as anit-Brahmin activities. Others accepted perhaps due to the green-eyed monster existed in them or an inferiority complex they nurtured all along.
Why attack Brahmins? Because they are the soft-targets. They are the easy-punching-bags who would never retaliate. It was tried to throttle the growth of Brahmins with reservation to the tune of 70%, however, that opened another growth path for the Brahmins.
They did not flee but they pursued their career and flourished. Still, there are many, glued to their roots.
If they attacked Brahmins, perhaps they might leave the temples. If they left the temples, perhaps the rituals and routines in the temples might not happen on a regular basis. if this weakens, then people thronging the temples would diminish & this would help the so-called
rationalists. Thus, they can win over the rest of the Hindu-Clan whom would never hesitate to retaliate if encountered.
The politicians never missed an opportunity to ridicule the practices, the beliefs of Sanatan Dharm. They felt inconvenient even to say the religious festivals of Hindus but termed as "holidays' in their channels.
Their statements were not mere ridiculing one but also went so cheap and obscene too on many occasions.
However, they failed to realise that only when they broke the idols of Lord Vinayaka, the temples of Vinayaka started sprouting in every corner of Tamil Nadu.
The consolidation of Hindus cannot be attributed to BJP. They are aligning with a party who banned their own "Vel-Yatra". BJP has a broader agenda than to defend Hindus. That could be one of the means but not on priority as on date.
would attribute this so-called consolidation to the so-called rationalists. They went over-board. they over-killed it. With social media having a broader reach and people getting easy access to it, what was restricted to selected circles have become quite open.
People have started realising these. Bombardment of information on a realtime basis had helped.
only question is, will this consolidation be translated to votes and will any party take advantage of it? Whatever has happened so far is only a little. There is a long way to go. These parties have majority of Hindus who still refuse to realise that their sentiments are hurt as
to appease other sects. It really did not matter as the way they were brought up was like that.
This mass has to show up. That needs unity. if we could embrace this subtle current of change that we see on the ground of how Hindus are coming together, voicing for Brahmins and asserting their unity and keep the momentum, change is possible"
Days are too far for that. Till then, the hang on so-called rationalism which is selective, have taken a firm grip on TN. Liberation requires more strength, patience and UNITY!. Let us pray for that.
