TYPES OF BRAHMINS AS PER SKAND PURAN:

1) Matra (मात्र) Brahman is the one who took birth as Brahmin but has no inclination towards Knowledge.

2) Brahmins (ब्राह्मण) follow the rules ascribed to him as a Brahmin and has positive qualities.

3) Shrotriya brahman(श्रोत्रिय) are considered to be those who possess knowledge of a particular Veda, and has positive qualities

4) Anuchang (अनुचांग) are those Brahmins who impart vedic knowledge and have the qualities of Shrotriya as well, are pure with clear thinking.

5) Bhruun (भ्रून) is that Brahmin who stays in an Ashram and knows the vedas well.

6) Rishikalp(ऋषिकल्प) is that Brahmin who follows rules and is a scholar of Vedas.

7) Rishi(ऋषि)is that Brahmin who follow Brahmcharya and are pure, capable of bestowing boons and curses

Muni(मुनि)is the one that who is totally detached having attained true Knowledge.

In no time kh!lji's men started hunting for her, Raja fled from Gujarat and shelter at Yadavas of Devgiri.

Yadav Prince wanted to marry Devala but

Vaghela considered them superior to Yadavas and rejected the proposal.

In midst of the dilemma, in 1308,attacked Yadavas and captured Devala Devi.

Within few weeks Devala Devi got married with Kh!zr Kh@n, son of Kh!lji.

One day Warmi reached Ksheersagar cut the Strings of "Sarang"

-the mighty Bow of Shri Hari Vishnu.

This Breakage caused division of Hari's head and body into two parts and later with help of yogmaya and Brahma ji he got a new body of Haygreev.

Mahakavi Bhritrimenth's epic Saga "Haygreev Vadh" writes great details about the connection

wth music.

He says cutting the strings of bow is as same as cutting the strings of a Veena or Sitar.

It doesn't kill the body but kills the dreams of the Sadhak, that's why all Sadhak practicing Music are always worried about about "Breakage of the Strings".

Mahakavi Kalhan mentions Same in his creation "Rajtarangini".

But unfortunately all these epic Sagas got replaced with cheap music and books these days.

THE NOTICEABLE SIGNS OBSERVED ON IMPENDING DEATH(मृत्यु के संकेत या चिन्ह)

As per "Skanda Puran", "Kartikeya" had narrated to "Muni Agastya" about the signs of the coming death.

This is as per this ancient scripture.

1. If one experiences the air coming out of right nostril continuously then it is observed that the person dies within 3 years.

2. If the breathing is continuous towards upper side from both the nostrils, then the person can die within 2-3 days.

3. If the breathing is through the mouth instead of the nostrils then the person may live only for 2 days.
The person should take into coignance these signs of the occurance of any sudden death.

4. As per astrology when the Surya is in the seventh house and

Chandrama is in its own house and the breathing is only through the right nostril then the danger exists.

5. If you see a yellow black coloured figure who becomes invisible immediately then the life span is limited to two years.

6. If any person sneezes, passes urine, stool and semen all together he has only a year more to live.

7. If a person sees blue coloured snakes flying in the sky then he has only six more months to live.

On the day of Amavasya, devotees get the darshan of Shyam Baba in Shyam varan (black color). In ordinary days, the form of Baba is saffron. The reason for this is a custom. The real head of Shyam Baba which had appeared from Shyam Kund is of Shyam varan.

Every day Shyam Baba's grand Shringar is done by Pujaris. The main part of Shyam Baba's shringar is Tilak. This Shringar is done by the members of Nij Mandir sevaks. The sevaks of the Nij Mandir do sandalwood tilak to Baba everyday in the auspicious time.

This Divine Tilak is applied from the forehead to the nose. When Baba is given a bath by sevaks, this tilak comes off. Then in the auspicious time, the sevaks again apply tilak to Baba.

There is no auspicious time on the Amavasya. Because of this, tilak is not done on that day. That's why devotees have darshan of Shyam Baba on the Amavasya only in the actual real form (Shyam Swaroop). Baba's tilak is done on Amavasya only on the day of Deepawali.
