Y'all. Y'ALL! my undergrads put their collective feet into these final keyword projects & un-Presentations for my Black Queer Cultures course. not only did they develop everything from zines to songs, but they actually *distributed* them to real life audiences! a few examples:
"are you my sister?", a children's book that promotes inclusive siblinghood while dragging Karens. theoretically grounded by the work of L'lerret Ailith, @RaquelWillis_ & @Kai_MG
"Baddies4Accountability," an Instagram-based community education campaign & research project, plus bonus playlist. theoretically grounded in the work of @brownstargirl & @ejeris
"HARM: Heteronormativity, Accountability, Racism & Masculinity, Toxic," a workshop for Black & indigenous STEM majors to heal from & learn to disrupt harm in the sciences.
"Go Pleasure Project," a throwback Tumblr that curates playlists for the young & queer to liberate and tap into their erotic power. theoretically grounded in work by @adriennemaree & the whole Pleasure Activism posse
