This kind of vicious attack on fan media is often so misplaced, misrepresents real issues to justify simply disliking something, and encourages a creepy gatekeeping culture that drowns out genuine problems.
Being a fandom anti is like being an Evangelical Christian, it really is.
And the reason is because being an anti is a culture that's based on negativity, not positivity. You have to be mean and aggressive about any perceived issue AND you have to be all-in about it. You can't express any feelings that oppose the mob or you're out.
This is not the same thing as simply not liking something. Sometimes people just don't like something and sometimes they can explain why, other times they can't. Sometimes they find other people that don't like something. But that's usually not the foundation of their group.
