I was sent a copy of the so-called Super League document earlier today and have spent the afternoon doing some number crunching on it.

A few key takeaways

The plan would guarantee massive income to a 15 club elite and cement financial gaps not only between those competing in the Super league and those not, but within it.

The plan envisages one off payments of up to €350 million to the fifteen founder members, but only six clubs would receive the full amount with five of the initial members receiving just €100 or €112.5 million.

The 15 breakaway clubs have generously deigned to allow 5 merit based qualifiers each season. But the system is totally skewed against them. They have no say in running the Super League and are entirely excluded from a commercial pot worth 15% of income

Moreover, there is an 'equal' share of revenue that is not equal at all. The qualifiers are excluded from half of this pot of money (worth around €1.85 BILLION)

1) Let's start in 2007 — Anthony Katz is a 30-year-old high school teacher and basketball coach in Southern California.

For exercise, he regularly organizes pickup basketball games.

The only problem?

As he got older, the games started to leave him increasingly sore & fatigued.

2) Looking for a way to recover faster & prevent injury, Anthony Katz researched how professional athletes dealt with soreness & fatigue.

A combo of elevation, ice & compression made sense — but ice bags didn't…

3) Despite ice bags being used by athletes all over the world, Anthony Katz saw one glaring issue.

As the ice melts, the bag fills with air — causing it to lose its coldness & compression.

Not to mention, they looked ugly.

Instead, Katz set out to engineer a better solution.

4) In an effort to make his own ice compression wrap, Anthony Katz bought Neoprene from a Huntington Beach wetsuit maker, cut it with a knife, and sewed Velcro to hold the ice bag in place.

But would it work?

🇩🇪 Hitz €4.1m - Dortmund not in great shape and he has produced a couple of errors in the last weeks. Should start if Bürki 🚑 remains out.

⚽️ Defenders

🇩🇪 Kimmich €6.6m - Expensive, but most likely worth it. 4 assists in his last 3 games 🅰️ 🔥

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Man. City defence - Take your 🔵 pick here. Cancelo currently is the most attacking one with Stones/Dias also providing some goal threat. Rotation the usual caveat.

🇪🇸 Angelino €5.4m - The wing-back is still Leipzig's top scorer with 4 goals + 6 assists so far this season ⚽️🅰️

🇧🇷 Danilo €5.0m - The cheapest way into Juventus' backline.

🇪🇸 Hermoso €4.2m - Enabler from Atletico's defence. Playing v Chelsea who don't score too many atm.

🇫🇷 Kounde €4.1m - Another cheap pick, this time from Sevilla. Many #UCLFantasy managers already had him in their teams for the group stage.

⚽️ Midfielders

🇪🇬 Salah €11.6m - Even though Liverpool is struggling atm, he still finds a way to score in a lot of games.
