3, The Budiriro homes are illegal structures as the housing cooperative sold land earmarked for a school & without any form or authorization. This is Events Housing Coop. They sold each stand for USD2,500 and pocketed the money. This is between 2017 & 2018, the buyers were misled

4, All in all @cohsunshinecity has close to 38 judgements which were over land invaded by housing cooperatives. This means thousands of homes are sitting on illegal land, illegally built meaning no approved plans. This means there is no wanted, sewer, roads and power

4, As it stands court applications were done in March 2017 & the courts took too long to order the immediate removal of these land barons. Judgement was pass in February 2019 & 9 months notice was issued to all sitting home owners to stop building & evacuate.

5, The home owners were give notice 9 months which expired on 31st of Oct 2019. The Sherrif was instructed on 13 Feb 2020 at which point country went in to Covid period. The Sherrif resumed work & notice of ejectment was served on the 17th of Nov 2020. @HStvNews

6, As @ProvinceHarare we do not get involved in court judgements. The responsibility lies with the Applicant & Respondent to settle their issued the legal route. In this case ALL 38 Housing Cooperatives did not appeal judgements some did not even defend summons. They ignored

7, Let me therefore say the statements issued by @mdczimbabwe against me & Get is irresponsible as they have the majority councillors in @cohsunshinecity & shows a serious lack of leadership & professionalism. It is simply a legit court order served at the wrong time rainy season

8, As the @ProvinceHarare PDC my job covers working with all councils so meeting them is not a crime. Secondly Development Control employee hundreds of people what's their job if @MDCAllianceZW is so shocked at the demolitions. Let's grow up please as leaders

9, We as Govt appreciate that @cohsunshinecity has been mismanaged for decades & @JMafume with his executive have been working with us to ensure we clean the mess & restore sanity. Trying to politicize the legal functions of council is just plain ignorance

10, The fact remains we have thousands of home built illegally & some people stole people's hard earned money. What do we do as a Nation to regularize those duped of their money & review of which laws to ensure stiffest penalty to land barons including asset forfeiture
