1/n I was asked my thoughts on the video below (sound on! Watch in full), not sure why. But here are some of my thoughts, in a thread. It's about Los Angeles, where Eric Garcetti is mayor, in CA, where Gavin Newsom (D) is governor.

But that's not all.

The time for Los Angeles to act was months ago.

You chose policies that spread the virus.
You bent to pressure, refused to enforce orders and people died as a direct result of your lack of leadership.
That's the truth and history will record it.https://t.co/B1WezSp1u4

Last night, Orange County, CA once again told @GavinNewsom what we think of his unconstitutional curfew mandates.

In addition to this act of civil disobedience, protesters also gathered at the houses of Newsom and LA Mayor Eric Garcetti.
We will not comply! pic.twitter.com/hNeuHra1C1
All along in this, including in May onwards, I've been very consistent that the need for public compliance trumps everything else.

1/n A thread on #pregnancy, vaccines and more.

"among nearly 600 pregnant women in 13 US states hospitalized with #COVID19 from March 1 ~ August 22, 16% were admitted to an intensive care unit, 8% were put on mechanical ventilation, and 1% died"https://t.co/S7iYkEXLLv
https://t.co/y205DIlUVf
2/2 NY as a state has one of the highest deaths per million in the world, NYC even more so. Even so, the majority of the population there were and are not +ve, that is. they haven't had #COVID19 yet. Which means plenty of room left for the second wave.

Caution should very much be exercised but I think the terror narrative is being too aggressively pushed. Trying to say Texas is like New York is dishonest at this point. The fact that probable cases are included should be considered suspicious. pic.twitter.com/YPMa5aHeey

I'm sorry but I'm having a hard time feeling bad for California business owners who are making videos about going broke because of draconian rules issued by state and local governments.

Way too many of them voted for the people doing this to them. Gavin Newsom got 61% of the vote
