1. You don’t go from A to B in a straight line. You go from A to B in a zig zag.
2. The smartphone took away your need to memorize information and replaced it with an inability to focus.
3. Everyone in their 20s thinks they know everything until they hit 30 and realise they really don’t know anything
4. 99% of male depression would disappear if men valued creation over consumption. Solution to male depression = build stuff.
5. Self-control is your greatest weapon. Everyone has access to it but few choose to use it.
6. Men are wired for violence and conflict. In ancient times it was burning down villages and scalping heads. Now it’s starting businesses and internet “beefs”. Read Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy to understand this psychology.
7. Religion is the most effective way to distribute positive moral values to a large audience.
8. If you get rid of religion, it will be replaced with some other belief system. There is no way around this.
9. People have an inherent need to believe in something. Even atheists.
10. Schools are designed to brainwash first and educate second.
11. The food industry has done far more damage to society than the tobacco industry. It’s not even close. Follow @Mangan150 to educate yourself on this.
12. Men who care more about the progress of their favourite sports team than they do about their personal progress are losers.
13. Porn was the worst thing to happen to men.
14. Instagram was the worst thing to happen to women.
15. If you think the government should give you free healthcare and you don’t take care of your health, then you are a burnden to society.
16. “Weed isn’t addictive” - says the guy who still smokes weed like he’s still in high school.
17. Central banking is a massive scam. Educate yourself on how money works.
18. The news business exists to keep society distracted from what’s really going on behind the curtains.
19. Hollywood died in the 90s.
20. Using economic metrics like GDP and Unemployment rate to gauge the progress of a country has ironically destroyed a lot of countries.

Non-economic values like beauty and health are more important than you think.
21. The upside of the internet is that we have more information. The downside of the internet is that we have less wisdom.
22. Every generation has some sort of existential crisis. Whatever you’re going through now is no way near as bad as what your grandparents went through.
23. Sales is a shortcut to success in any realm.
24. Freedom is the ability to say “no” to things you don’t want to do without any consequences.
25. Eating red meat will probably be a hate crime in the future. Build your farm.
26. One year living in a foreign country will add 5 years to your maturity.
27. Scientists can be corrupted just like anyone else.
28. Capitalism is good for society. Corporatism is bad for society.
29. The biggest turn off to a woman is a pussy.
30. There is an orchestrated effort by the higher powers to lower testosterone and make men weak. This is why I named my account @waronweakness. It was a calling to men to fight back by making ourselves stronger.
31. Most relationships won’t last. People change and people die. If you value the relationships in your life, make an effort to keep them going.
32. Peaking in high school is a curse I would not wish on anyone. Most of those people never change.
33. If you spend your 20s building, you can spend the rest of your life living.
34. What people call "reality" is actually just perception. When I say mindset is everything, I mean EVERYTHING.
35. The person you choose to be in a relationship with will either bring out the best in you or the worst in you.
36. When it seems like everything in your life is going down, THINK POSITIVE. It's the only thing you've got but it's the only thing you need to climb back up.

1) College is not mandatory

I know everyone around you makes it seem like it's mandatory but it's not.

Especially if your #1 goal is to make money.

Even if you STILL want to go to college..

Take a year off to work or travel

Get some LIFE EXPERIENCE

then go to college.

2) World travel is the best education you never had

When I was a kid I had no idea you could possible to travel the world long term.

I thought my path was College ▶9-5▶5 years on the job▶2 week vacation▶Retirement at 65

Reading the 4-hour workweek changed that path for me

3) Lifting is mandatory

You are at your PEAK Energetically.

Use that energy to get into the best shape of your life and the rest of your life will be FAR EASIER.

Everyone respects a physically strong man. No one respects a physically weak man.

No debating this one. Go lift.

4) Don't listen to your parents

Only exception is unless your dad is a self-made millionaire.

If your parents give you conventional advice like go to college, get a job, get married etc, IGNORE.

It's not their fault they've been brainwashed.

Love them but ignore their advice.

1) Steal attention with a strong Headline

A reader's decision to read the body copy lives or dies on the strength of your headline.

Your goal is to make the reader curious enough to read the first few sentences.

If you got the reader to sentence number two or three, congrats.

2) Hook 'em or lose 'em

The headline tickles the reader's curiosity but the hook is what gets them invested into the key message of your piece.

Like the opening scene of a suspense movie, the hook should pull the reader in.

At this point you should have their full attention.

3) Guide them down a slippery slope

Good writing should read as if you're sliding down a slippery slope.

Noticed I said guide... NOT push.

You're taking the reader on a journey from A to B and it should feel effortless and have a natural flow from one sentence to the next.

Most people see their mindset as being synonymous with their identity.

Eg. I *feel* down therefore "I must be depressed".

This way of thinking f*cks up your self-confidence and stops you from growing.

Instead, see your mind as a department in a big corporation called you, inc.

If you can address your target's objection before he brings it up, you come across as honest rather than deceptive.

the objection under the carpet and hoping the target forgets.

But the longer you wait, the more skepticism you build in your target's mind.

The best way to get someone to buy something is to make them feel like they own it.

Lets First start from knowing the cause of this "FEAR" of pulling the trigger.

A traders goes through many phases before becoming Profitable.

The first phase is the " APUN HI BHAGWAN HAI" phase-

When we first begin Trading, we don’t know any concepts, we don’t know about the risks , the dangers.

So we start trading, and like most guys by beginners luck we start making good, we start to calculate how much money we will make in next 1yr, 5 yrs, Greed start to Hop in.


We get introduced to Various instruments, F&O, LEVERAGE.

We take big positions as we don’t have any FEAR cause we haven't seen those bad phases yet.

Now we get the Big blow, account down -50%, or in many cases wiped out.

The first phase ends here.


Now we know How the market can kick our ass, we now know the risk that comes with those big positions.

I'm just back for a COMPLETELY NECESSARY trip to a supermarket.

And... something dramatic happened.

So, okay, looks like we're going to have a little bit of a THREAD.

Buckle up for an unbelievable anecdote that gets to the heart of London life in this nightmarish pandemic.

Lessor known facts of Sudarshan Chakra or Neela Chakra of Puri Jagannath Temple.

The metal wheel at the top of Bhagwan Jagannath temple is also known as Neela Chakra (Blue Wheel). The wheel is made of eight metals comprising of.. 1/n


iron, copper, zinc, mercury, lead, brass, silver & gold. It's circumferance is about 36 feet & it is so designed that there is a wheel within the wheel. The circumferance of the inner wheel is about 26 feet. Eight hubs join together the inner and the outer wheels. 2/n


There are decorative designs on the outer wheel. The thickness of the Neela Chakra is 2 inches.The wheel is said to be Bhagwan Vishnu's most powerful weapon, Sudarshana Chakra. Inside Jagannath temple, Lord Vishnu's wheel is also worshipped in the name of 'Sudarshana'. 3/n


But inside the temple Sudarshana is not in the shape of a wheel, but in the shape of a small wood pillar placed to the left of image of bhagwan Jagannath. It is believed that the same Sudarshana is also at the top of the temple and is known by the name of Neela Chakra. 4/n

Ok, I'll hop on this Elizabeth Warren/Native American testing bandwagon (gently and non-politically).

I've been a @23andMe customer for a while, and have followed their ancestry updates closely.

All is more or less as expected....except for this bit about Native American.


The family is almost completely composed of Spanish peasants (from various regions) who emigrated, along with a massive wave in the late 19th-cent./early 20th-cent., to Cuba back when it was a booming economy (richer than Spain's) and worth emigrating to (Communism killed that).

Also, the native population of Cuba was annihilated early on---was the first place the Spanish colonized after all. Having a native background in Cuba would be like having the same in, say, Massachusetts, particularly if you're (say) mostly Irish. Just really, really unlikely.

(Note: the North African/Arab background is less mysterious. The Iberian peninsula was part of the Muslim world for centuries. It would be odd *not* to have some Arab/Middle Eastern background coming from Spain. Given the family is mostly from Northern Spain, it's small though.)

I have a Spanish passport, have been back to the ancestral villages in Spain, seen the church where my grandmother was baptized, my grandfather told me stories about growing up as the child of Spanish colonists in rural Cuba. The native bit just clashes with all the family lore.
