How to make $10,000/month on YouTube in 2023 as a beginner

(Starting with only $20)

- Thread -

1. Select a niche

For our example, we will use the finance niche

There are many channels in this niche making $10k+ per month

All they’re doing is adding video clips to pre-recorded audio

I’m going to walk you step-by-step how you can do the same…

Here’s an example channel:
2. Find Voiceover

Search YouTube for the latest financial commentary

Find clips from people like:
- Warren Buffett
- Robert Kiyosaki
- Dave Ramsey etc.

Extract the audio from their longer-form content

Do this by pasting video URL into YouTube to MP3 converter:
3. Find Music

Go into the YouTube audio library and sort music by mood

Select “Inspirational” and listen to the music demos

Select a track that matches your video content

Add in the credits in your video’s description and you’re set!
4. Find Footage

Sign up for Storyblocks for $20/mo

Search for business related clips

Gather enough clips for the full length of your video
5. Edit Video

To edit your videos, go to Clipchamp

Import your video and audio files

Edit to match video length to length of voiceover

Aim to make your videos 10-15 minutes long
6. Monetize

To make $10k/mo on this channel you should promote an offer

Digital products and affiliate offers work best

Check out sites like Impact Radius or Commission Junction to find offers

Place links to your offers in your videos’ descriptions and pinned comments
Here’s how much a small channel can make:

20,000 monthly views x 2% conversion x $25 commission = $10,000

Getting to 20,000 monthly views only takes 4-6 months

That’s the power of YouTube…

The entire discussion around Facebook’s disclosures of what happened in 2016 is very frustrating. No exec stopped any investigations, but there were a lot of heated discussions about what to publish and when.

In the spring and summer of 2016, as reported by the Times, activity we traced to GRU was reported to the FBI. This was the standard model of interaction companies used for nation-state attacks against likely US targeted.

In the Spring of 2017, after a deep dive into the Fake News phenomena, the security team wanted to publish an update that covered what we had learned. At this point, we didn’t have any advertising content or the big IRA cluster, but we did know about the GRU model.

This report when through dozens of edits as different equities were represented. I did not have any meetings with Sheryl on the paper, but I can’t speak to whether she was in the loop with my higher-ups.

In the end, the difficult question of attribution was settled by us pointing to the DNI report instead of saying Russia or GRU directly. In my pre-briefs with members of Congress, I made it clear that we believed this action was GRU.
