I've been asked a few times to write a thread about @routerprotocol so here goes, this may take a while I'm not great with twitter /1

 Routerprotocol is a crosschain liquidity protocol which will ultimately allow people to build crosschain dapps using their own SDK and route chain /2
Route are backed by the best including coinbase ventures, Almeda capital, wintermute, polygon and more /3
Their mainnet went live last week with an incredibly powerful BSC/Polygon bridge where you can swap any BSC token for any Polygon token providing there is liquidity on pancakeswap on BSC and dfyn exchange on polygon /4
You pay one gas transaction in the native chain and a crosschain fee. Using $route for this fee you pay half the amount. You don't pay any gas on the destination chain /5
Transactions are really quick, under a minute IME so far. The bridge uses usdc to swap and has liquidity for up to $10k at the moment. At either end the USDC is swapped to the desired coins in AMMs /6
Routerprotocol can also mint $route and $dfyn on BSC, locking them on polygon. Allowing 1:1 swaps /7
More chains will be added at pace, first on the hitlist are @FantomFDN @avalancheavax and ethereum. All EVM chains will be added quickly /8
Later this year non EVM chains will be added. Ultimately you'll be able to use routerprotocol to quickly transfer any token on any token for any other token on any other chain in one transaction. /9
But that's just the start, their crosschain SDK and chain will come later in the year. Let's talk about $route /10
$route has an insanely low market cap of $30m or so right now, the price of ~$4 is what their big backers paid meaning it's rock bottom cheap /11
$route is now used for cheap crosschain fees, in the future you will be able to set up validator nodes to receive a portion of the protocols revenue /12
$route will also be used to pay gas on their own chain ultimately making a unified gas fee for all transfers. /13
In terms of wild speculation $route with the market cap of thorchain would be a $300 coin, an upside of nearly 100x /14
The token has seen some big manipulation from pump and dump groups in the last few months which show how easily the price can move, but the supporters hold strong /15
Staking of route will be available in the next month or two when the hacken audit is complete. Speaking of audits... /16
The team have taken a serious approach to security, they have had audits from Halborn and certik and gave away around $100k in bug bounties to white hat hackers /17

Some tweets on Adi Shankaracharya and in particular the Guru Parampara of @sringerimath. [I had done this series earlier 5 years ago on account of Shishya Sweekaram].


Adi Shankara established the Sringeri Peetham as the 1st of 4 amnaaya peetams.

The four being
1. Sarada Peetam at Sringeri.
2. Govardhana Peetam at Puri
3. Kalika at Dwaraka
4. Jyothir at Badarikashramam.

He installed his 4 most prominent shishyas as heads of the peetams.

Sureshwaracharya was assigned to Sringeri as its head.

Sringeri is a corruption of Rshyashrunga giri.

Rshyashrunga maharshi [and his father Sri Vibandhaka Maharshi] did their tapas at this place.

It is at Sringeri that Shankara spent 12 of His precious 32 years!!

That gives you and idea how much He loved this place.

Rshyashruga maharshi had a horn on his forehead, a result of being born to a deer. His mere presence was enough to shower rains!!

Rshyashrunga was one who led Putrakamesthi Yaagam of Dasaratha Maharaj and which resulted in Sri Rama's birth!!

In the last couple of days Russian propaganda has published a lot of content alleging that Poland staged provocations against the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. The content in question has employed narratives in use by the Kremlin in its influence activities against Poland. 1/6

Pattern no. 1
Articles posted to Russian websites pick up false accusations against the Poles. These include bogus claims that Poland sabotaged the construction site of the Russia-to-Germany gas link and carried out a direct attack on the pipeline. 2/6


Pattern no. 2
Some of the articles warn that the Kremlin may take retaliatory actions against Poland. Based on false accusations thrown by Russia, the Kremlin’s propaganda amplifies the calls by some journalists and contributors to embark on aggressive activities against PL. 3/6

The Russian media outlets publish a lot of materials that mock the Polish Navy. The narratives that denigrate this component of the Polish Armed Forces are based on opinions and quotes by single Polish Internet users. 4/6

Importance of Famous Payyannur Pavithra Mothiram or Ring

Temple, constructed by Parasurama is known as the 'Pazhani' of Kerala.The place got its name from 'Payyante Ooru' where Payyan is another name by which Subramanya was called.


There are references about this temple in Brahmanda purana. Muni Garga mentions this temple and the place to  the Pandavas when they were in Vanavasa. Temple was destroyed two times, once due to fire and then during the attack of Tipu Sultan.


Important tradition here is wearing of Pavithram by the temple priest. Pavithram is a sort of  ring worn during performing Vedic rituals or during the "pithrubali". Usually worn while performing Tarpana or Shradham. The traditional Pavitram is usually made of Dharbha grass

Hinduism is a minority religion in Punjab.

During the Khalistan movement, the minority Hindus and Jains were subjected to several attacks. Hindu and Jain temples were frequently vandalized and desecrated. This thread documents a few instances.

Durgiana Mandir is one of the oldest temples of Amritsar. According to the regional Hindu tradition, the temple was built on the spot where Lava and Kusha bound Hanuman. The temple annually attracts millions of Hindus from all over the country.


Amristsar has a very ancient Hindu history.

According to the regional Hindu tradition recorded in the "Survey of Amritsar", Amritsar got its name from Amrit immersed by Lava and Kusha in a pond.


Durgiana Mandir was rebuilt in 1921.

It was used to house the Murtis of Vishnu and Durga which were thrown out from the Parikrama of Harmandir Sahib in 1905.

Because of its presence in Amritsar, it became a frequent target of radicals during the Khalistan movement.


In 1982, in what was a completely unprovoked attack, the Dal Khalsa "activists" threw a severed cow head inside Durgiana temple.

Okay look - I didn’t grow up with comic books. But I read stacks of science fiction digests and I kit-bashed model cars into fantasy rods, and just tried to maintain a low profile until I could get out of the house. So you could say I’m a distant cousin of the comic book fan. /1

And sometimes one’s childhood passion follows them into adulthood, sometimes not, sometimes as an adult one finds a passion they never had as a child and embraces it. For me, that must include getting involved with a puppet show at the age of thirty. /2

So who’s to say whose passion’s legitimate and whose is bogus? Nobody. Someone might indict your passion but they have no ground to stand on and should be dismissed out of hand. /3

Maybe they’re envious that you have a passion, maybe they think that their passion is cooler than yours, or maybe they’re just insecure, who knows. Doesn’t matter. /4

What matters is that if something gives you joy, and in the process doesn’t hurt others, then by all means follow it. It’s how we explore our secret hopes, our shadow sides, our inner character. /5
