Let's talk about Vaccines.

Still seeing a lot of confusion going around about the Mechanism of vaccines in use. I will attempt to explain it as simply as possible.

Please read, and share.

So, think of the SARS-CoV-2 virus as Ferrero Rocher. 😋😋

 Let's see the structure of the virus first.

Spike Protein = Nutty spikes
Lipid Membrane = Outer Chocolate Layer
Nucleocapsid = Wafery Layer
RNA = Innermost Chocolate

That's putting it very simply for the purpose of understanding.

Let's see how the virus causes infection.

The virus enters through our respiratory tract. It needs to enter a cell to replicate. For that, it uses the SPIKE PROTEIN (nutty spikes).

Spike protein allows the virus to enter the cell and cause infection.

Sweet and simple.

The aim of vaccines is to try and prevent infection in your body.

Hence, most of the vaccines are targeting the Spike Protein (nutty spikes).

Scientists sequenced the RNA of the virus and identified the genes making the Spike Protein.

Let's see some vaccines now.

➡️Imagine if someone took away all taste and flavour of Ferrero Rocher. It is now lifeless, tasteless.

That's COVAXIN.

They killed the SARS-CoV-2 virus, took away its ability to cause infection. Body can still identify it and mount an immune response against it.

COVAXIN has been developed by Bharat Biotech.

It is the only vaccine in use right now that uses an inactivated virus.

All the other vaccines we'll see below - target only the Spike Protein (nutty spikes).

That's COVISHIELD.

The genes making the Spike protein are mixed into an adenovirus that can't cause infection in humans. It makes the Spike Protein in our body.

The vaccines SPUTNIK V and JANSSEN are similar to COVISHIELD.

COVISHIELD uses a Chimpanzee Adenovirus.

SPUTNIK V and JANSSEN use a Human Adenovirus.

The mechanism is the same - adenovirus is used as a vehicle to send the spike protein gene to our body.

That's mRNA vaccines - Pfizer and Moderna.

The genes making Spike Protein are encoded into an mRNA. mRNA = messenger RNA -> makes proteins in our body. It makes the Spike Protein in our body.

A similar mechanism is also used by ZyCoVD vaccine by Zydus Cadila.

Instead of mRNA, ZyCoVD uses plasmid DNA (a free-floating piece of DNA) that contains the code for the Spike Protein.

ZyCoVD is still undergoing trials in India.

➡️What if I just want to eat the ready-made nuts of Ferrero?

That's COVOVAX.

They took the code for the Spike Protein, put it into another virus called baculovirus that infected moth cells. Spike proteins made were collected, made into nanoparticles, and used as vaccine.

In the simplest of words - they made the spike protein outside the body, in a lab - and then inject it as a vaccine.

COVOVAX is the brand name of the vaccine developed by Novavax, USA, and manufactured in India by Serum Institute - undergoing bridging trials in India.

So, as you can see from above -

NONE of the vaccines have a complete, living virus that can cause infection.

Covaxin has the killed virus - unable to cause infection.

All others - barely have 1 component of the virus - the Spike Protein.

VACCINES CAN'T CAUSE INFECTION.

So, all in all, this is how the vaccines in use/undergoing trials work.

They are safe.
They are efficacious.

Get vaccinated when you can.
And, implore others to get vaccinated as well.

I worked in bank liquidity and treasury for the better part of the last decade, and there is one very interesting risk factor from the SVB collapse that I do not think we have ever witnessed before in modern finance, a 🧵:

First, some context. Following the 2008 financial crisis where a massive driver of stress was caused by low quality assets littering the balance sheets of massive institutions, the regulators sought to create a framework to ensure all banks were verifiably sound.

This meant forcing Federally registered banks to conform to capital and liquidity ratios. If they did not comply, they would not be allowed to issue dividends or buy back stocks, hurting the value of their enterprise.

There was the introduction of the concept of RWA, or risk weighted assets. A simple way to think of these ratios is, the riskier your asset base on a weighted basis, the more high quality capital (think cash) you would need to hold to stay in compliance.

Not only were banks required to regularly be in compliance with these ratios as a going concern, but needed to prove they could maintain certain limits when met with a time of stress across a number of incrementally adverse scenarios.

The Haas / Force India argument is fascinating, and the decision of the stewards may still have consequences. The first key finding is that the stewards ruled Racing Point Force India to be a valid constructor. That means that it builds its own cars.

Haas had argued that the cars had been designed by Force India, but as Haas knows only too well, "outsourcing" is legal. The stewards decided that "there is no regulatory support for the argument that Outsourcing of Listed Parts cannot come from a former or excluded team."

In determining this, the stewards also came to the following conclusion: "In relation to the submission by the Racing Point Force India F1 Team that it is not a new team, the Stewards decide that the Racing Point Force India F1 Team is indeed a new team."

This will have a big knock on effect for Haas in its continued arguments over the rights of RPFI as relates to its eligibility and rights under the complex payments structure. Haas has argued all along that RPFI should be treated as a new team and tread the same path that it did.

TLDR? Haas lost the fight but may have won the war. In having its argument that Racing Point hadn't designed their own car thrown out, they gained clarification that RPFI was a new team.

The Golden Ratio or Phi(Greek) is a mathematical ratio of nature. Mother Nature is the most exquisite artist in herself.

If anyone uses this ratio correctly in their art,it can turn into a spell-binding piece of work.Such is the significance of'Phi'.But my thread isn't about it.Its about somethin called'Fibonacci Series'&who actually made it


Phi is related to Fibonacci series(0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34...)
&this series is responsible for everything dat is beautiful on this planet. Just try to calculate the ratio of any 2 successive numbers ÷ each of them by the number before it in above infinite series.

E.g. 3/2=1.5, 5/3=1.666, 8/5=1.6, 34/21=1.61904 and so on. Did you notice something? The ratio is coming almost same every time. This ratio is called 'Phi 'which is numerically represented as 1:1.618. This Golden Spiral is made in exact proportion of 1:1.618.


The thing I want to emphasize here is that we always find only those things appealing and attractive that have Phi. It's in our subconscious. Isn't it some revelation? We are the part of this Divine proportion of the God or the Mother Nature. Check these:

THE IMPORTANCE OF DEVI BEEJ / BIJA MANTRA.

Once Suutji in his discourse with King Janmajeya repeated the words of Vyasji regarding the pronounciation of the word ऐ. Vyasji had heard the importance of this word in a meeting of all important saints at Naimisharanya.


There this story was discussed.

In that gathering of such great sages, Rishi Jamdagni asked a question to all the eminent luminaries. He wanted to know which diety is the most revered and gets satisfied easily with our prayers. So Lomash rishi replied that Devi

Bhagwati was one such diety. She will be satisfied and is ready to grant you a boon even if you just say the first letter of her beej mantra. In this context he narrated the story of Satyavrat. The story is as follows.

There lived a Brahmin named Devdutt in Kosal.

He was childless. He arranged for an elaborate yagya for a intelligent son to be born. He invited all the eminent rishi's to conduct this Yagya. Rishi Suhotra, Pael, Brahaspati Yagyavalka were assigned different tasks. Rishi Gobhil was asked to sing the Saamved.

He sang the verses very well, but he had to take respite in order to breathe between two verses. This angered devdutt. He spoke his thoughts to Gobhil rishi.

The rishi got very angry as devdutt did not realise the practicalities of singing. He cursed devdutt that

Once, Banasura(grand son of Mahabali) obtained a boon from Shiva that he could be vanquished only by a virgin.
So, Devi took the form of a kumari and started meditating with the desire to marry Shiva at Suchindram.
Pleased Shiva fixed the midnight hour for marriage with Devi.


Devarshi Narada knew that the marriage would end the chance of killing Banasura. So, he assumed the form of a cock and crowed. Shiva returned back to Suchindram thinking that it was dawn.
Angered, Devi cursed that all food and articles meant for wedding turn into sand and shells


When Banasura heard about Devi’s beauty, he tried to take her by force. Devi, then, killed him and granted the wish of Devas to remain there always protecting them.
The murti of Devi stands with a rosary in hand. Her diamond nose-ring is said to be visible even from the sea.


Once an ancient mariner mistook it for a lighthouse and sailing towards it, his ship wrecked upon the Kanya Kumari rocks. In order to prevent such a tragedy from happening again, the eastern door of the shrine is opened only on five special occasions throughout the year.
