GETTING A REMOTE JOB FROM THE ABROAD: THE BASICS

I have some free time now. I can’t promise that this thread will not be lengthy, but I can assure you that it would be valuable.

So, please, retweet. Be a contributor to someone’s growth.

In the last one month, at least 4 people from the last w/shop have gotten remote jobs paying them in dollars. It’s not rocket science, if you can follow the steps in this thread, you can do it. That’s all for the introduction, let’s get to business.
The first thing you should have is a VALUABLE SKILL. Yes, you write, but is your writing valuable? You do not have to be a pro-writer; you just have to be good at what you do. You could be a programmer, video-editor, proofreader,...
UI/UX designer, language translator, virtual assistant, tech bro. Whatever it is, someone somewhere is willing to pay for that skill. Always have that in mind.

So, what happens if you do not have a skill? Learn. There are hundreds of valuable skills you can learn.
Earlier in the month, one of my followers started a course to become a product designer. She was a food vendor but seeing as she was interested in earning with a digital skill, she started the course.
You can start yours today as well. There are thousands of relevant YouTube videos. You can also check out: https://t.co/dFSoQyc0n5. Good luck!
The second thing is to HAVE A PORTFOLIO and/or a RESUME ready. A portfolio is a repository of your works. You do not have to be an expert to have a portfolio, start now. I do not think anyone would want to hire someone without a proven track record of excellence.
Resumes are not only meant for people who work in offices. As a freelancer/remote worker, get yourself a resume, a good one too. And if you have to get a portfolio deck, do so to. How? Check out https://t.co/5exKDNMN1k, https://t.co/8vDDVRTOYy, https://t.co/goqZM8as2N.
Or just google “Portfolio creating sites”. All your works should be uploaded. Not only would you look organized to your recruiter, but you would also have a huge sense of confidence. If you still do not know how to create a portfolio, please let me know under this tweet...
I will work out a free class to help you start your journey. Everybody must win.

Important: Know what you field requires. A professional grant writer must be familiar with NGOs, and all. Some things are not escapable. You have to know them.
Third, WORK ON YOUR MINDSET. Ideally, this should not be the third point, but it is. Why? Because in your quest for a remote job that pays, you need to be positive irrespective of the troubling hurdles you may come across. Just last week...
...someone broke the news of how he got a job that pays $50 per day via LinkedIn. It was all sweet and rosy till he told me how many rejections he had gotten before then. You will always be rejected. But trust me, someone somewhere needs that skill, and with consistency, smart...
work, and prayers, you will reach out to them. Someone got a job that pays $1200 monthly after over 37 rejections. You have the skill; you have the platform. You only need positivity. Work on your mindset.
Uhm… short break. To read a more comprehensive version of this thread, please check out my LinkedIn post, follow me there too. PLEASE.

Viruses and other pathogens are often studied as stand-alone entities, despite that, in nature, they mostly live in multispecies associations called biofilms—both externally and within the host.

Microorganisms in biofilms are enclosed by an extracellular matrix that confers protection and improves survival. Previous studies have shown that viruses can secondarily colonize preexisting biofilms, and viral biofilms have also been described.

...we raise the perspective that CoVs can persistently infect bats due to their association with biofilm structures. This phenomenon potentially provides an optimal environment for nonpathogenic & well-adapted viruses to interact with the host, as well as for viral recombination.

Biofilms can also enhance virion viability in extracellular environments, such as on fomites and in aquatic sediments, allowing viral persistence and dissemination.

We know that elite institutions like the one Flier was in (partial) charge of rely on irrelevant status markers like private school education, whiteness, legacy, and ability to charm an old white guy at an interview.

Harvard's discriminatory policies are becoming increasingly well known, across the political spectrum (see, e.g., the recent lawsuit on discrimination against East Asian applications.)

It's refreshing to hear a senior administrator admits to personally opposing policies that attempt to remedy these basic flaws. These are flaws that harm his institution's ability to do cutting-edge research and to serve the public.

Harvard is being eclipsed by institutions that have different ideas about how to run a 21st Century institution. Stanford, for one; the UC system; the "public Ivys".
