Tomorrow Vijaya Ekadesi!.

11th day of the lunar fortnight is Vijaya Ekadesi! Per our hindu calendar we have 24 Ekadasi a year, one during sukhla paksha and other being Krishna paksha.

அனைவராலும் “ஆறு வார்த்தைகள்” என்று பிரபலமாக அழைக்கப்படும் (ஆறு கட்டளைகளை) நம்பிகள் வாயிலாக இளையாழ்வாருக்கு அனுக்கிரஹித்தருளினார். அவைகள்:

1.அஹமேவ பரம் தத்வம் – நானே எல்லாவற்றுக்கும் மேலான மெய்ப்பொருள்

2.தர்சனம் பேத ஏவ – ஜீவாத்மாக்களும்/அசேதனங்களும் என்னிலிருந்து வேறுபட்டவை (அவை என்னுடைய சரீரமாக விளங்குபவை)

3.உபாயம் ப்ரபத்தி – “என் ஒருவனையே தஞ்சமாகப் பற்றுவாய்” என்னிடத்தில் சரணம் அடைவது ஒன்றே என்னை அடைவிக்கும் வழி.

4.அந்திம ஸ்ம்ருதி வர்ஜநம் – தங்களின் மரணத்தருவாயில் இருக்கும் சரணாகதர்களுக்கு, என்னைப்பற்றிய சிந்தனை கட்டாயமில்லை. வராஹ சரம ஸ்லோகத்தில் நானே அறிவித்தது போல, உன்னுடைய அந்திம காலத்தில் நானே உன்னைப்பற்றிய சிந்தனையை ஏற்கிறேன். (நம் ஸம்ப்ரதாயத்தில் ஆசார்யர்கள் நமக்கு )

காட்டிச்சென்ற இனிமையான பாதை – நாம் எல்லா நேரத்திலும் நம்முடைய ஆசார்யரைப் பற்றியே சிந்தித்தபடி இருக்கவேண்டும்

5.தேஹாவஸானே முக்தி – சரணாகதர்கள் தற்போதுள்ள தங்களுடைய இந்த சரீரத்தின் முடிவிலேயே முடிவில்லாத பரமாத்மாவிற்கு கைங்கர்யம் செய்வதற்கான பரமபதத்தை அடைவர்

Sri, Boomi, Neela, Mahalakshmi, Narayani samedha Sri Narayana Perumal, at Sri Pancha Lakshmi Narayana Temple, West Mambalam, Baroda Street, Chennai.

Here Perumal is found with five Thayars unlike most temples where He is seen with Sridevi and Bhoodevi.

Sridevi, Bhoodevi and Neeladevi are found on either side of the Perumal and Mahalakshmi is found as Thani Nachiyar.

The fifth Lakshmi, Narayani, is found in the heart of Narayana Perumal.

Since Perumal has the Thayar as part of His thirumeni (body), He is adorned with a waist belt (Oddiyanam) and anklets on His feet.

The Perumal looks resplendent in His Paramapatha Kolam and those worshipping Him in this form are said to be relieved of all their sins and can reach the lotus feet of the Lord at the end of their lives.

This Perumal has been in worship for centuries in a private household of an industrialist and based on the divine instructions received, they have made worship of these deities public.

The grace of this Perumal has spread far and wide and this place is often very crowded.

Abhangs, a Marathi poetic pattern has caught up craze with Tamils of late. Abhangs are easy to follow with 4 lines and 4 syllables in each line used mainly in Sankirtan. So, trying to explain a popular abhang.

Maajhe Maher Pandhari…

Majhe Maher Pandhari, Aahe Bhim Ratya tiri.. (or Bheevarechya tiri..)

Pandharpur is my maternal home, that is on the banks of River Bheema. (Maher = maternal home)

Maher in Marathi means maternal home! In Indian household, among women, the maternal home always has a special place. For every woman, even after decades of marriage and having lived in the extended family, maternal home (mother’s home) always remains a special place for her.

The reasons are very many but no place fills the place of a maternal home.

Sant Eknath, in this Abhang, describes Pandharpur as his maternal house – a very special place to him in his life, a place he always wishes to go, where he can go and stay at his own wish,

spend time at his own will and yet none complains. He gets all the liberty to do at this place. It is a place of respite for him. Or in another sense, Pandharpur is his real home.

1. Shakuni Had No Animosity Against Pandavas, His Real Enemy Was Bhishma

Shakuni was furious that his sister Gandhari was marrying a blind man, and his first adversary was Bhishma, who brought the proposal of a blind man for his sister.

In addition, there is another legend that states that Hastinapur's ancestors destroyed the entire clan of Gandhara. This is one of the reasons Shakuni vowed to end the Kuru line entirely.

So, you see Shakuni poisoning Duryodhana against the Pandavas to start a war and end the Kuru line by killing each other.

2. Shakuni Had 2 sons - Uluka & Vrikaasur

Shakuni's family was never given much attention because he is mostly seen in Hastinapur. However, it is true that he had two sons, Uluka and Vrikaasur.

Ulo-ok or Uluka wanted to return his father to Gandhara before the Pandavas came from Agyatvas, but Shakuni- did not go back because he wanted to sit and start the Kurukshetra war.

WEAPONS OF MAHADEV

Sarvaripati Shiva is one of the most fearsome manifestations of Mahadev. Assigned with destroying all of the universes at the end of time, Shiva is one of the most fearsome warriors. He is the Mrityunjaya.

TRISHULA: the 3 pointed blades denote creation, maintenance, and destruction or the 3 Kalas – Past, Present and Future. They also represent 3 Gunas – Sattva, Rajas and Tamas).
Shiva’s trishul can only be stopped by Shiva himself.

Trishul is also said to represent Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna. These are the three basic nadis – the left, the right and the central – in the pranamaya kosha, or the energy body of the human system.

I REALLY HAVE A ?? this mornin

Anyways, Woke up this mornin with so much energy(glory to God), at a time, I was considering walking from ABEOKUTA- Ibadan just to show that my frenemy, Pst. @Abel2goupOla that I was fitter.. 😂

Anyways, I set out early praying in tongues, which is my usual practice, but, midway, I decided to listen to one of the audio messages on my phone. The lot fell on Pst. E.A. Adeboye's message, titled, "THE CREATIVE POWER OF GOD'S WORD"

His Word can CREATE, CALL FORTH, CANCEL,

OBTAIN etc. It can serve in every capacity and can do all things, even d imagined stuffs can b brought to manifestation.

Making time to study His Word is really underrated. Many today just glance thru & rush off. This will not help. We must make time in d midst of no time.
