Tomorrow marks one year since @POTUS and @VP took office. In honor of that milestone, I wanted to look back at 12 remarkable accomplishments @POTUS has achieved in the past 12 months. Buckle up!

1. We reduced health care costs and expanded coverage to nearly 5 million Americans

2. Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, we reopened 95% of schools and helped schools address the pandemic’s impact on students’ learning and mental health

3. Through landmark executive orders, we made advancing equity and racial justice the business of the entire federal government

4. We passed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and started rebuilding our infrastructure and creating good jobs

THREAD: This is a story about how police are frontline propagandists. It starts with a violent robbery at a men’s clothing store in Manhattan. It ends w/ NYPD responding, but refusing to investigate. Then lying that no one would face any consequences bc of “reform.” Read on:

A few weeks ago, a men's clothing store in Manhattan was victimized by numerous young men who, according the owners, stole $20,000 of merchandise. And worse: punched a 61 year old employee in the face. It was the second time the store had suffered similar theft recently.

The owners called NYPD both times. Both times NYPD came after the young men had left. The second time, however, one of the young men left his cell phone behind. Even apparently called it to retrieve it. The holy grail of evidence. A way for cops to catch them, right? Wrong.

Here's where the story turns from tragic to sinister. The owners called the responding cops "professional & sympathetic." But they lied to them. First, they lied they couldn't use the phone bc of "privacy laws." Despite ample justification to undercut constitutional protections.

Never in my nearly decade of public defense did the Constitution ever stop cops from acting even when the Constitution plainly prohibited their actions. Cops know their word will never be challenged & even if it is, judges will give a pass. More on this:

I don't care if Mike Todd gives away 1mil, he does not biblically teach the word of God. I'm begging all new believers and people trying to walk in true biblical Christianity to please stop listening to him. He can be the most famous pastor in earth, and it's still a NO.

On December 30 2020 Rhodes bought 2 night vision devices & 1 gun sight for $7000 & shipped them to an individual in VA, near D.C., where they arrived January 4. He bought $4500 in Mississippi on gun equipment, incl sights, mounts, optic plates, magazines, & other gun parts.../3

On January 1 and 2, 2021 Rhodes spent approximately $5000 on firearms and related equipment, including a shotgun, scope, magazines, sights, optics, a bipod, a mount, a case of ammunition, and gun cleaning supplies.../4

MAGA Sen. Doug Mastriano announced his candidacy for Gov of PA today. They opened the proceedings the same way they opened J6 in DC, by blowing the Shofar, signaling that this political battle will also be spiritual.

#antidemocracy: Here are two things that concern me and I don't know why more white evangelicals aren't talking about it. (1) Repub. Lindsay Graham said in 2012, "We’re not generating enough angry white guys to stay in business for the long term.”

(2) Paul Weyrich a founder of the Heritage Foundation + praised up & down by Dobson & others + was a main strategist for Religious Right in 1980 and beyond very clearly said he does not want everyone to vote. It would not be good for the Religious Right.

Everyone needs to stop talking and especially writing articles about the governor of FL.

It’s a game designed to make you look bad, and it mostly works.

It helps no one & reinforces his base’s beliefs abt the media. It will tip more swing voters toward him than away from him.

Here’s how it works:

A few people react to something he says or does (often bad things but sometimes really minor).

Then it grows online and his staff stoke the freakout.

By the time the most accusatory version circulates widely, his staff puts out info to prove it wrong.

So then you have easily debunk-able stories and tweets (fake news?) about DeSantis, faraway and less-informed progressive Twitter going bananas on false pretenses, and a vindicated GOP base.

This all suits the governor and his political staff (I say this bc he treats governing and campaigning as one, and his comms staff are more about campaigning than information or policy) perfectly. They are playing you like a pawnshop fiddle.

Example 1: “DeSantis has gone missing.” So stupid. I know there was a covid spike. But he can take a few days off. And his staff said he was. But then, when the media were atwitter with #WheresRon, they post a schedule Thursday showing he worked all week but w/ no public events.

Here is a second angle of Ron DeSantis struggling with breathing problems during his event today. The longer this clip goes on, the worse it gets.
