So, a little story about conspiracies, conspiracists and America. I'm typing this as I go, so no idea how long this thread is going to be. Just over a decade ago, me and the family went on holiday - to a ranch in Texas.

It my son's choice - he was going through a Westerns phase, thought he was too old to be going on holiday with us, so we let him choose the destination, and just went with it.

The ranch was a lovely old place, run by a guy in his sixties or seventies, though most of the actual running was done by a fantastic Mexican couple who lived there.

The old guy was very Texan - beautiful manners, larger than life, full of stories. The other memory I have is that there were guns *everywhere*. In just about every room.

He spent his evenings online, but not in the way you'd expect these days. He spent his time on networked multiplayer war games, fighting imaginary enemies while talking to his fellow players.

Tonight I'm going to share a special
#ChristmasStory with you. It's based on the story our mamas tell us so that we aren't afraid and bark at Santy Claws. My canine friend Moe & a human named Jodie inspired me to create this as a holiday gift for my Twitter friends.

Moe Knows loneliness. 

He was an adorable puppy. Some kind of bully breed mix born just before Christmas. When he was just a little tyke he was bought by a man wanting something

that would grow into a big guard dog. So Moe was taken from his mama & siblings and went to his new home. His first night there he spent alone in a garage with only a thin blanket between him and the floor. Moe cried all night.

Moe knows cold.

He spent his days chained in a yard and his nights in the garage. Being a mischievous pup, Moe eventually found things in the garage to play with & chew on. This made the man very angry & Moe was no longer allowed to sleep in the garage. He stayed chained

outdoors and huddled under an old truck in the yard to keep out of the wind & keep dry.

Since we're looking at this, thought I would bring up something interesting that's been going on for the last few days.

@mil_ops did a video Thursday noting some interesting traffic in the DC

In short, there's been some interesting traffic moving from Italy to Europe.

Black ops seem to be grounded on Thursday with no new flights on the flight log.

And there's been a flurry of activity in the DC area. AF1 & 2 went up with a lot of protection (only AF2 squawking). Drones all over DC, and Green Jolly's all over Langley.

i was looking at the dessert section of the menu and it had al these normal things and then also chocolate mousse, except it specified that it's "for two." I'm like sure whatever I can eat a lot of mousse it's fine

It comes (along with my chamomile tea and burger for 1) in a giant bowl with a spatula stuck in it. I'm like hm interesting I wonder what the spatula is for. Also if it's "for two" why is it in one bowl

I am playing Padishah-Emperor Shaddam IV of House Corrino as I attempt to fistfight my enemies for control of a very large spice rack. Those enemies are:

- House Harkonen, baddies
- House Atreides, baddies with good PR
- Spacing Guild, Uber w/ LSD and gun
- Fremen, ??? sand

I didn't put the Bene Gesserit on there as an enemy because a) I ran out of characters and b) they're like a combination of Catholic nuns and Народный комиссариат внутренних дел. Keeping their name out of your mouth is safer.
