Just finished a deeply personal & educating private conversation with @GregoryMcKelvey. We both are committed to doing & being better in regards to ourselves & those around us. I thank him for taking the time to reach out, for us to learn from each other, & to open a dialogue.

1. I was blocked by @pinwheelempire around 3 years ago. Something that actually really hurt as a life long Blazers fan. I thought it was because I tweeted stupid stuff about Stotts as a passionate fan during that playoffs that I don’t currently believe.
2. At some point I asked why and was informed by multiple people that the account was ran by a cop and that many media members disliked him. This was told to me many times by many people. I then believed that my race, and my public protesting of police was why I was blocked.
3. I do not work with police in any capacity because of personal trauma and historical oppression. I believe people should know when they are interacting with police. I also was/am salty about the block as a life long fan. I am still blocked.
4. Periodically I would tweet reminders that the account was ran by a cop, which I believed. Although part of my incentive was that I was hurt by the block as a fan. Recently I tweeted such a reminder which I believed especially pertinent given the current uprising.

Wanted to get into why this question is so important -- and the two separate parts to it. 1/

The idea for this thread sprang from a tweet that @nevslin put out there: /3
What should I write next? A Quiet Place-esque thriller with a Sixth Sense level twist or a comedic re-imagining of a Greek myth? (Both features.)

People like @MuseZack, @bryanedwardhill, and myself encouraged Zack to write the "A Quiet Place-Esque thriller with a Sixth Sense level twist." As Zack put it: /4
If it's got a great hook, the former has a better chance of selling.
— Zack Stentz (@MuseZack) December 16, 2020
And as @bryanedwardhill pointed out:
I think about it like this. The first idea could be made by a LOT of different filmmakers, with varying levels of celebrity stars.
— Hilluminati (@bryanedwardhill) December 16, 2020
The second? A shorter list on both accounts so much harder to put together. You’d need an 800 lb gorilla directing AND major A-list talent acting.
No problem.
Here's how you use a virtual browser to run ads safely on someone else's FB account.
** Thread **
In order for this to work, you need to have permission from someone to use their FB profile.
Whether that's a friend/family of yours or some random guy/gal you pay.
Because you'll need the login information to their FB profile.
Just a heads up.
A virtual browser is the best solution I've found for this.
A remote access tool like Splashtop is an alternative option but the user has to have their computer on if you want to access it.
This can create a bunch of headaches which is why I prefer to use a virtual browser.
It allows you to access the user's computer alongside them so you're able to log on whenever you like no matter if the user is using their computer or not.
I'm sure there are a bunch of options for virtual browsers but I use Multilogin ==> https://t.co/RF6s0Mto8f
99% of you will be fine with the Solo package which is around $100 a month.
Small price to pay, if this is the only option you have to run ads.

Many have piped up with commentary and criticized the mix of religion and politics. A convention long held in Canada.
As a Priest and Bishop-Elect, I’d ask that the UCP send Christmas greetings without the wholly inappropriate inference of divine sanction for their government. There are so many things wrong with their use of these words from the Prophet Isaiah it’s hard to know where to start. https://t.co/rwOxVzvnI5

The quote is often repeated at Christmas. “A child is born...” makes reference to the birth of Jesus. Makes sense.
But what does it mean?
Christians (and other religious observers with their religious texts) have made an art form out of interpreting what passages mean.
To those most radically devout (some might say zealously faithful), hidden divine meanings are gleaned from “correctly” reading the bible.
That’s what Dominionists believe. That god himself wrote the bible. Through inspiration of the actual authors, & only they can interpret.
And thus, the “inerrant“ bible serves as a strict road map to save ones soul.
Many devout Christians view the passage as a prophecy made centuries before the birth of Christ. A promise made by god through one of his prophets. Jews interpret the passage very differently.
The Anglican Priest is (obviously) correct about this being supersessionism, and a form of Anti-Semitism.
Troublesome as it is for a Canadian provincial govt to be tweeting out Anti-Semitic propaganda, that’s not the only meaning this passage has for Dominionist Christians.

For me tactics only makes sense when looked at as a socio-technical system. This thread reflects that way of thinking.
Again I'll be using British examples but there are some US crossovers later on.

My starting place is Lionel Wigram and the Battle School Movement.
The principle objectives were concerned with training a mass of newly conscripted infantry in how to fight. There were precedents from the FWW. This movement though was set up by a Territorial Army officer.
2/

I referenced Tim Harrison-Place's excellent book in an earlier thread on SWW small arms.
There's also this excellent article on Wigram and the Infantry
Wigram sought to inoculate new soldiers from the chaos of battle while training them in the basics of what might simplistically be called fire and movement.

As I said in this earlier thread, there was a tension within the Army between those were part of the institution's professional ethos and the new conscripts that made up the mass of the
The ethos of the professional Army valued marksmanship as an indication of their professionalism.

More than this, I'd contend they did not entirely trust a conscript army to do what was necessary.

Covid recovery money is going to the oligarchy.
Ottawa and the provinces have put very little on the table to help clean-tech companies directly during Covid 19 while targeting fossil-fuel producers with more than $16 billion in aid.
Coast to coast people have demanded treaties be honored. We demanded climate action, divestment and land back but Canada is not listening. This video shows 10 years of rallies in Waterloo Ontario. City & regional council declared a climate emergency. 🚨
The Bank of China (BOC), SNC-Lavalin and WE Charity were recipients of taxpayer-funded the Covid 19 Canadian Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS)
